Period set in the 1980’s youth dramas are pretty trendy in the last few years there was Youth of May and Snowdrop and coming up on KBS Mon-Tues will be Oasis. I expect conflict in the form of political protest transgressions and someone going to jail, and lo and behold in the preview that’s exactly what’s shown. Nothing wrong with tapping into a turbulent and transformative era in South Korean history and there is always pathos to construct out of kids trying to grow up as the nation tries to grow up. The drama stars Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, and Choo Young Woo as the trio of friends turning into a love triangle. The drama is from the screenwriter of Damo and Gye Baek with the PD of Goodbye Mr. Black and Empress Ki.

It reminds me Inspiring Generation. I hope this one won't have a change of writer because the beginning with Kwak Dong-Yeon was really good but not the rest. This area is really interesting.
I like that era setting. Will give it a watch.
The leads are decent. Hope its good.
Wow, I barely recognize jang dong yoon here, shows how much haircut and complexion can change someone's look.
I've been waiting for Jang Dong Yoon and Seol In Ah to be reunited and have a love line again after School 2017 (in which I love them more than the main couple)! Cant wait for the drama, seems like its gonna be bittersweet type
