I still remember being hooked on K-drama medicals in the late aughts but then the genre just fell off my radar not for being bad but likely due to proliferation. The upcoming SBS drama Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim 3 (Dr. Romantic) will be the first medical K-drama to go three seasons, though it was a different supporting cast in the first drama than now the second and third which brings everyone back. I am a creature of nostalgia and I love seeing the entire cast coming back because it shows affection for the role and the story line, hard to happen these days.
