I’m glad Kim Sae Ron’s drunk driving case didn’t drag out and with her statement accepting responsibility it’s now time to move on. The court this week fined the actress 20 million won ($13K USD) for her drunk driving accident last year where she careened into the curb and took out an electrical box and a sidewalk planter. Thankfully no one was injured but she was immediately removed from upcoming dramas and it’s unclear whether she will attempt an acting comeback or whether she can even do so. Regardless, she’s in her early twenties and has a long life ahead, I’ll always remember her talent as a child and teen actress and hopefully she lives her life in a positive way going forward.

I hope the press lets her be. There, she got her day in court, got her punishment. Let her sort out her life now.
Men with way worse offences actually came back so I am already sick of how they are stalking her. It is over now and I hope they stop.
true
She had such a promising career. She was in a lot of movies and shows I like. I didn't realized she was the same actress. That's too bad. Terrible choice and actions have consequences. She was lucky no one got hurt
Hopefully she will pick herself up after this. Life is still so long, even not in entertainment, I wish her luck in her future career and life.
This is not a drama; drinking and driving is serious. Hope Kim Sae Ron gets raked over the coals, just a fine is not enough.
She didn't even hurt anyone, never mind anything else. The law gave an appropriate punishment. The life she had by then was over. She paid dearly and will in some way continue to do so indefinitely.
No, she doesn't need to be "raked over the coals" more than that especially as she is already being treated more harshly as a woman. Save your outrage for those who actually harmed others. Torturing people and not letting them change their life around only brings about more harm.
Agree. I don't condone her wrongdoings but wishing for more misery to happen to her is a whole 'nother story now. Justice has been served with respect to the crime she committed, so let's get over it already and let the young woman start anew.
