I’m such a sucker for a good period costume and the ones on display for upcoming tvN drama Tale of Gumiho 1938 are right up my alley. Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum are back as the gumiho brothers this time they cross paths with Kim So Yeon with Ryoo Kyung Soo as this story’s chief antagonist. K-supernatural and folklore has so many more creepy scares to mine I hope the drama sticks with the more interesting episodic cases and if there is an overarching main story it’s more compelling than the underwhelming baddie from the first season.

The Villain and the romance really messed up the first season. No hate on either actor/actress, the script was just bad. Let's hope this one will stay cool and exciting. Both leads (the fox brothers) are cool enough for it and the period setting seems great.
