Lee Je Hoon Confirmed for MBC Drama Chief Inspector 1963 Reviving Hit Drama From the 1970s/1980s
The success of Taxi Driver 2, even higher than the original season, has given Lee Je Hoon another leveling up in his already successful leading man career and he’s next taking his talents back to prime time television with a nostalgic favorite. He’s confirmed for MBC drama Chief Inspector 1963 which of course is set in 1963 about the main character when he’s younger from a series of Chief Inspector dramas in the 1970’s/1980’s when the male lead was already a veteran and those dramas got upwards of 70% ratings so holy moly. This is a great pick for Lee Je Hoo and a smart move for MBC to revive a classic with him.
