Another weekend and another series of K-ent articles about jTBC weekend hit drama Doctor Cha male lead Kim Byung Chul. Frankly I’m not sick of it because he’s THAT GOOD and also this has been majorly overdue. The latest articles are discussing how he’s been acting for 18 years (!) and is always so perfect in side character roles in countless dramas that viewers just take him for granted. But now he’s gotten the spotlight and this level of attention is truly well earned. Viewers especially love him for adding depth to plot roles in Kim Eun Sook dramas Goblin, Mr. Sunshine, and Descendants of the Sun and say Pegasus Market is also a must watch for further enjoyment of his impeccable comedic timing.

Him dancing EXO and BTS in Gobin was the highlight of his career imo. XD
No, that's not him. Dancing Secretary Kim in Goblin is most recent Baeksang Best Supporting Actor drama winner Jo Woo Jin.
Kim Byung Chul played creepy minister tutor and later gross undead Park Joong Hoon.
Lol that reminds me of the scene in "Mr. Sunshine" when Eugene's superior, Kyle Moore, said that Gwan-soo (Jo Woo-jin) and Il-sik (Kim Byung-chul) could pass as brothers because they look alike.
He's a hoot but I still don't want her to stay with him.
Pegasus Market is annoyingly entertaining in a quirky way
I first noticed him in Shopping King Louis as one of the office worker (as Mr Lee?) He was so funny, always so delighted when Louis gave him 5 stars .
As i wrote in a previous post, i only watch the drama because of him . Having comedic timing is the most difficult thing for an actor . A great actor once said that making people cry it's easier than making them laugh . And i agree . Bryan Cranston in Malcom is like watching a master class . Flawless .
He is such a joy to watch. I first noticed him in that critically acclaimed drama I forgot the name when he was playing one of the dads to the kids. But he's such a revelation in this role. I'm glad he is getting recognition for his work.
He is such a joy yo watch. But man he creeped me out in Goblin. Good actor.
