Liu Yu Ning and Song Zu Er to Find Love After Political Marriage in Period C-drama The Prisoner of Beauty

There are first posters and stills out for period C-drama The Prisoner of Beauty, with the Chinese title Zhe Yao which means to bow in obeisance or literally folding at the waist. Starring Liu Yu Ning and Song Zu Er adapted from the same name novel, it’s not a xianxia and seems more like slow burn court and family politics type drama like The Story of Minglan and The Sword and the Brocade. The two leads get married and then fall in love in their contract/political alliance arrangement so expect lots of strategizing and slow burn glances and touches. Hopefully nothing about this drama story or the cast is objectionable and this drama can air and keep the momentum going in 2023 in period C-drama land.

Oh did it pass review? That's good. The last I heard they had a lot of trouble passing due to the political marriage aspect so I was worried it would get stuck.
This drama just wrapped filming recently so it would not have passed review yet. Takes about a year for period drama to air counting from the time they wrapped shooting.
I became a fan after watching her and Z.Tao in Legally Romance. Waiting!!!
