K-drama romances love fate and childhood connections and this drama takes both to a new level of meant to be. See You in My 19th Life will premiere next weekend on tvN and the latest main trailer shows female lead Shin Hye Sun taking charge all the way to pursue her past life first love Ahn Bo Hyun. He’s a whole lot older than her since she died and was born into her next life while his emotional state stunted and now needs her return to his life to reboot. I was iffy about him playing this wasting away type of male lead but he’s doing not bad in the previews, more believable that I expected. She’s per usual excellent at bring direct and charming.

TVN has the most fun and interesting line up for this year as of now. See You In My 19th Life, My Lovely Liar, Sparkling Watermelon, Diva of the Deserted Island, Maestra and maybe even Queen of Tears at some point. I'm also excited for the Kim Hyeyoon drama which has a really long title that I can't remember. Even JTBC has a fun line up with King The Land, Behind Your Touch, Destined With You and Welcome to Samdari. ENA only Lies Hidden in Your Garden sounds interesting. For MBC the Lee Seyoung drama could be fun and light but knowing MBC would not trust them to deliver on execution. KBS is very lacklustre as always and SBS has too much makjang and crime. This year JTBC dramas have been taking the ratings and popularity crowns but TVN is going to be tough competition starting 17th June. Things are getting exciting now.
I agree, TVN's lineup is really good. I was just watching their video featuring their upcoming shows and I thought, yeah, I'm definitely watching pretty all of those shows.
Kinda sad about what happened to KBS, it used to be my fave when I got into kdramas back in early 2010s, and now it's meh
Kbs have one really big budget drama coming this year
sageuk drama for kbs 50th anniversary special and it cast korean public darling vet sageuk special choi soo jong
And ena have another big drama which cast jung woosung and shin hyun bin
Couldn't agree more. After a dull period in Dramaland in the first half of 2023, finally, we now have intriguing shows presented before us and have something to look forward to. tVN might have the edge this time and one reason may be the fact that most shows in their upcoming lineup are seemingly female-centric shows led by acclaimed actresses.
It's impressive how JTBC has made a comeback over the last year. They were struggling for a couple of years and seemed to have lost their spark.
