Man, if my man came back a little rounder it would make me happy that he ate well, slept well, and was well during mandatory military service. South Korea isn’t in active combat so military service is mostly just boot camp and then regular training for those serving active duty. K-actor Seo Kang Joon finished his tour last month and was released on May 22nd and in the month since he’s been fielding scripts as to be expected. But a first look at him has K-netizens criticizing his new rounder face and I’m all like “awwww, more Bae to love!” I’m sure he’ll be in filming shape when time comes all stars know the maintenance routine when work comes calling.

He was really thin previously so rather that diet till his former form, id rather he just slim some and bulk up instead. Hes very handsome. Even chubbier cheeks and a fatter neck cant distract from those mesmerising hazel eyes... x

Chubby? More like bulked up. You can tell it's myscle gain from his photoshoot. He looks tough and buff. Muscle gain can also make the face rounder as we saw when Namgoong Min bulked up for the Veil. Either way, SKJ is beautiful.

Meh, I'm just glad he's back already. I'm with the other comments, he most likely just bulked up. And even if he did gain weight, toxic netizens won't have to worry long, I'm sure he'll lose the weight once he starts doing dramas and stuff (not that he needs to, he looks good to me)
