There is additional movement with the upcoming Hong Sisters modern drama Can This Love be Translated, after Son Seok Gu turned down the male lead role it’s now being offered to Kim Sun Ho. The story is about a polyglot translator and his romance with a top actress. Kim Sun Ho’s antagonist return in the thriller K-movie The Childe has been well received so with this role he can make a true return to the romance K-drama genre. The female lead role has been sent to Han So Hee but her agency said she is considering the drama along with other drama scripts so nothing is confirmed. This drama will likely air in the beginning of 2024.

I love both of them! Hope they accept the offer
why would Hong Sisters are interested to cast a douchebag like him?
Because unlike people like you, Hong Sisters have critical thinking skills and know that his personal life shouldn't affect his career, unless he commits crime, which he clearly didn't.
He's still getting lots of offers and a ton of CFs, so clearly, only Twitter t*rds like you view him as "douchebag" lol deal with it 😎
Why don't this critical thinking didn't work with actress Kim Min Hee ( awarded actress) , after all , it's not a crime to love a married man ! Hope to see Lee Seung Gi to return soon too with great roles .
Get out of here with that morality policing BS.
Keyboard warriors these days feel so empowered to ruin lives/livelihoods but I'm glad the general public has more sense.
They worked together in 100 day my prince and had a few scenes together. Zero chemistry but the characters likely had something to do with that. Still, honestly don’t think this is a good pairing. Son Seok Gu would prob look really good with HSH tho.
But I’m indifferent to both actors and the writers so frankly I don’t care for this project either way.
I would have LOVED to see Son Suk Goo with Han So Hee. It's too bad he passed... but I have a feeling she will pass on this too. The Hong sisters don't have the same pull they once did in the heyday of rom coms.
KSH is getting offered projects with top writers and paired with top female stars, so it looks like he's in the clear as far as the industry goes.
Honestly, good for him. If r*pists like Park Shi Hoo can still get projects, so should he seeing that he didn't do any crimes. Just wish women also get the same second chances, sigh...
Since when women get the same chances ? Less paid, much more body shaming , a man is a womanizer but a woman is a whore, 40 years men are sexy but women are expired ,...and i'm not even a feminist , it's just about being treated in the same way in the same situation . They want to women to give birth but they make it hard for them to return to work field after maternity .
Is Han So Hee the only actress in high demand ? She seems to get a lot of offers . As for KSH, he must be liked as he is getting great projects . Lucky guy ! But replacing Son Seo Gu by him . I don't get the similitaries between both !
LOL! I was bullied so much on the internet by his die-hard fans when Start up was airing, I took a dislike to this guy. With these leads, it will be a hard pass for me.
I thought I was the only one. I just can't stand his face on my screen bcs of the bad taste left in my mouth after Start-up. His obsessed stans were so nasty (about the other characters, to me personally, to anyone else who disagreed with them, and even to the other actors) that they made me unable to tolerate him. I don't think I've ever encountered such a rabid and delusional fanbase. Definitely my most toxic kdrama watching experience.
