It’s been a wild two months in drama land and with the good and bad at least it’s been hella interesting. I hope August doesn’t deflate like a balloon and one promising hopeful is the arrival of MBC sageuk romance My Dearest on the 4th. The newest poster is above with more stills below the jump and gritty realistic vibe is so up my alley especially after spending a week in hard scrabble Qing Shui Town in C-drama Lost You Forever. Even if the stakes can be greater in period dramas at the end of the day viewers connect with the very human emotions that resonate from all rungs of life.

Namgoong Min as a lead in a sageuk is something not to be missed, so I'm definitely checking this out! He looks fine as hell in sageuk garb, plus he never misses in my book 😍
