Lol I can’t believe on the heel of writing an article about C-actor Zhang Ling He maybe becoming overexposed from doing too many dramas in a row, he goes and starts filming another one. I like the guy but he needs one massive hit to really justify how he keeps getting cast recently. Filming has kicked off for period C-drama The Grand Princess with Zhao Jin Mai and Zhang Ling He in a revenge and second chances love story. They play resentful and bitter marrieds connect by power and wealth who both die and wake up as teens ready to do it over again and maybe this time actually fall in love and make it a happy marriage. It’s adapted from a same name novel and filming is expected to last through the remainder of the year.

Might as well enjoy filming as long as he can get well budget scripts/project. And hope one will help him break thru. He is pleasing to the eyes and his acting skills are not as bad as some A-lister young drama actors.
The female lead does not interest me so I doubt I will watch it...unless it is really good.
Ikr. The FL is so boring to me. I checked out some of her dramas as C fans have been raving about her in Reset. But she doesn't appeal to me at all and bad scripts don't help again.
I did feel she suits School girl roles, summer romance. But in this, I am really unsure.
On the other hand, I will always remember she is the girl Angela baby tried to protect against Kris Wu on a variety school.
Well, he's a very good looking young man and a much better actor than many of the other very good looking male leads, so I am fine with him starring in as many shows as he can. He obviously has a lot of backing, and for once I am fine with it.
Adore Zhao Jin Mai. Her performance in RESET leave great impression for a very long tine. YES, RESET ONE OF FEW CDRAMA THAT HAVE REWATCH VALUE.
LOL. ZLH has been everywhere recently. I like him as an actor but can't help wondering if he's got strong connection/backing in the C showbiz? He's got overload while many other have trouble finding projects.

IMHO, his mouth doesn't look as weird as Deng Wei's. LOL
I like both FL and ML so will definitely check this drama out.
