The latest posters and previews for Castaway Diva continue to really make a dreamy presentation for being stranded on a deserted island. The drama posters really romanticize and glamorize what happened to her, being stuck on an island for 15 years except here she doesn’t look like a near crazed feral animal and more like a Flintstone’s character. I don’t mind a bit of glossing over but honestly Park Eun Bin‘s eternal optimism here is stretches credulity. Still, screenwriter Park Hyun Ryun always make it work for me so I’m super looking forward this.

There's a very dreamy, hippy kind of aura to the images, so maybe that ineradicable happiness she's exuding is chemically assisted. :)
It's like a California dream 's photoshoot ! She is gorgeous . She doesn't seem "Lost" ! Neither "Cast away" !
I'm a huge fan of PEB. She is a treasure I found this year. I did rely solely on Koala's blog to watch K dramas. So I have to give credits to her for me to enjoy so many interesting K dramas this year including two dramas of PEB, one of which was Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Her acting in EAW opened my eyes and gave me the feel of the same level of performance as the Oscar best actor, Russell Crowe, in the critically acclaimed film, A beautiful Mind. (Crowe was nominated for the best actor but did not win for this movie though. He won the best actor for movie Gladiator). I used to watch Asian dramas (mostly K dramas) just for fun. For anything serious and thought provoking, I'd watch American, British, and EU movies. But EAW with PEB's stellar acting changed my perception about K dramas. I started to take interest in more non-idol-ish dramas and then I got to watch another artistically presented drama, Anna. On top of that, I couldn't recognize PEB was the same actress in The King's Affection. That just shows how good she is. Being versatile and not typecast is necessary for me to like an actor.
I'm LOVING how female-centric the promos are so far! This is how it should be done 😌
