Filming is about halfway done with the C-drama Yong Ye Xing He (永夜星河) which translates to forever night milky way but is better known as the C-drama adaptation of the popular novel Guide to Capturing a Black Lotus. The drama stars Yu Shu Xin and Ding Yu Xi as the leads, with Zhu Xu Dan and Yang Shi Ze as the second leads. Yu Shu Xin was filming this drama during the airing of her stylish period drama My Journey to You last month in September 2023. I like Ding Yu Xi’s hair style here which softens his wide set eyes and accentuates his enviable sharp angles and Yu Shu Xin looks on the cutesy side in her styling.

Zhu xu dan seemed fairly good in her acting in Eternal Love. I don't know what happened because I can't stand her acting in other dramas.... just not natural and not believable.
