I think female lead centric may be still inadequate as this upcoming period drama is simply female centric as there are tons of strong supporting actresses cast as well. Filming is about to start for post WW2 period drama Jeong Nyeon adapted from a webtoon and starring Kim Tae Ri in the titular role. She recently debuted a striking shorn hair do that reportedly is for the drama look, which is no surprise since she’s always immersive in any role but still a first as from all my recollection she’s always had the same signature long locks. Joining her in Jeong Hyeon will be Shin Ye Eun, Ra Mi Ran, Jung Eun Chae, Hyun Seung Hee, and Jung Lael. She also has Alienoid Part 2 finally coming out so 2024 will be a busy year for her.
