I find Lee Jong Seok‘s career a very steady and more selective since he came back from military service in 2021. He used to do at least one K-drama if not two a year and that made sense since he was building and cementing his acting resume. Since discharge he did the successful thriller drama Big Mouse in 2022 and now likely will switch genres to come back in 2024 with the rom-com I’m Against My Romance. The drama will star Go Min Si as the female lead and the male lead was initially going to be Choi Hyun Wook who declined despite it being an age appropriate and same level casting. Regardless I think this will be a quality pairing and I hope Lee Jong Seok accepts and returns to the rom-com genre.
Okay, now I genuinely feel bad for Dilmara Dilmurat. Yes, she's absolutely insanely beautiful and…
So the Joynews poll of over 200 industry insiders spanned many topics and the one…
Alrighty this is great news to get an actual date rather than a general time…
So Cheng Lei had a small breakout at the end of 2023 with My Journey…
Since there aren't as many K-dramas being produced compared to year prior there isn't as…
Well this certainly gives me incentive to watch Kill Me Love Me more now lol.…

I am a huge Lee Jong Suk fan but I don't know if I want him to accept this drama honestly, I don't know if these kind of dramas are guaranteed to do well so I kinda want him to stay on the thriller line but who am I to question if he accepts it, he never misses with his dramas so hands tied if he accepts he has a good reason and I can't wait to see him on my screen again.
He should only be in dramas with solid leading ladies. I can never stick with his dramas when his leading ladies have sooooo little chemistry with him. He, himself, is super good at embracing his characters and attempting to generate synergy, but when it's not returned, SAD!
How did they go from Choi Hyun Wook to Lee jong Suk? They have almost 14 yrs age gap. Also what kind of a role is it that fit both the actors when both actors have different vibes.
I am still in shock who Lee Jong Seok is dating... I completely did not expect it...But I do wish them happiness
Choi Hyun Wook wasn't in Our Beloved Summer, that was Choi Woo Shik lol.
You are correct. Choi Hyun Wook starred in 21 25 and Twinkling Watermelon.
You got the wrong actor. Choi Hyun Wook is the one that played the young Ha Yi Chan in Twinkling Watermelon. Choi Woo Shik is the one that starred in Our Beloved Summer with Kim Dami.

Choi Hyun Wook is the one that starred in 2521 and Twinkling Watermelon.
my question is: what kind of character would both choi hyunwook and lee jongsuk be fit to play that they were both offered it? because there is a big difference in age, acting style, and visual between the the two.
That's what I was thinking lol.
Agree, the only commonality I can find is their height. Guess we just have to wait and see.
Hm now that you said it, I’m curious… the titlw seems to imply typical romcoms of enemy turned lover
Same for Son Seok Guu and Kim Seon Ho,Kim Soo Hyun and Yoo Ah In. Sometimes replacement doesn't have logic
My favourite LJS drama is Romance Bonus Book, the perfect noona romance, through a very rose-tinted glass :)
And W was so good, frustrating plotlines and all.
Just noticed he does seem to have scale back his work, hope this one works out for him.
