Sooooo…..this is supposed to be a romance sageuk drama? Am I reading this incorrectly or what based on the poster totally not jibing with the title. KBS is readying a January 2024 premiere of sageuk drama Love Song for Illusion based on the webtoon Fantasy Sonata, and it’s all sorts of incongruous to me on what to expect. The poster above looks more like it came as outtakes for The Crowned Clown and the other poster below is a low budget version of Moonlight Drawn by Clouds. Male lead Park Ji Hoon is coming into this after rave reviews for his performance in Weak Class Hero 1 but he has a true nugu in Hong Ye Ji as the female lead in her first drama ever so I can’t even assess ability or potential chemistry. As said, this is a true wild card for me so I’m curious what it is about.

Kinda excited for this. I first watched him in At a Distance Spring is Green, and he was good there, but Weak Hero definitely was such an eye opening performance. I also wanna give credits to the producer/cast of WHC1 cause they were able to assemble him, Choi Hyunwook and Hong Kyung together (also Lee Yeon).
I do hope PJH continues in his trajectory, I can see Im Siwan path for him. Hope he gets more variety of genre in projects...
