Honey Lee is a Proper Widowed Lady by Day and Secret Warrior Queen at Night in New Poster for MBC Sageuk Night Blooming Flower

I love seeing another talented veteran K-actress get promoted to drama queen status, where an entire story is anchored and revolves around her regardless of who the male lead may be. There is Lee Young Ae, Kim Hee Ae, Kim Hye Soo to name a few and now Honey Lee is headlining her own sageuk as the Night Blooming Flower. The latest poster is just her as two identities in the drama – the proper widowed lady and the secret kickass warrior who helps the downtrodden. Her male lead Lee Jong Won may be still an up-and-comer but I was impressed with his screen presence in Gold Spoon and he just has to hold his own here. Bonus points for this drama being adapted from a webtoon so at least the source story is already plotted out.
