Bai Lu and Zhang Ling He are Broken Up Rumor Back in Limelight as Entertainment Gossip Blogger Says the Reason is Producer Yu Zheng’s Interference to Keep Bai Lu Single
So the are they dating news from last year during the filming of Story of Kunning Palace is basically all but confirmed with leads Bai Lu and Zhang Ling He. And the end result was the drama was fantastic and their chemistry was fantastic, win and win. But before the drama aired the rumor was the two had broken up and likely would not be promoting their onscreen CP for shippers and also not do as many couple promos. Now a tabloid entertainment gossip blogger is saying the reason for the breakup is producer Yu Zheng, as Bai Lu is under his agency and his most famous actress in his stable of stars. He broke them up because Bai Lu needs to remain single in order for her to convincingly sell future onscreen romances in dramas with other male leads. Yu Zheng responded denying this rumor saying he has never interfered in anyone’s private life. Hhmm, sure Jan.

I'm pretty sure they were never dating. And the dating rumor was just PR for Kunning Palace. Yu Zheng was the mastermind.
They are not have similarities. I don't like to be Zhang Linghe gf. I want Maimai for him. They have a similarities in face.
The reason is that CP promotion of their drama is over. They never dated.
That bad an actress that she needs to be single and romance her co stars.
Pretty sure that is not true. Bai Lu is already 30. The most famous liuliang actresses like Yang Mi and Liu Shishi were married at that prime but never had trouble having successful dramas. This just seems like a PR stunt for Story of Kunning Palace.

True or not, this at least shows the perception that people really care about celebrity's personal lives so much that it affects their marketability.
It shouldn't, but it seems enough people do so that you either fake news or you fake real news as appropriate.
They never really gave me relationship-vibes, so who knows lol. But in any case, if they did date, they're now over and ready for new relationships.
