Shin Mina, Kim Young Dae, and Lee Sang Yi Confirmed for Rom-com Drama Because I Want No Loss

New year new K-drama confirmation to kick off anticipation for the already announced dramas in the line up. A reunion and a noona-dongsaeng romance will happen in the same drama, with the rom-com Because I Want No Loss (Because I Don’t Want to Lose) will star Shin Mina, Kim Young Dae, and Lee Sang Yi. For Shin Mina nd Lee Sang Yi, it’s a a reunion from Hometown Cha Cha Cha and both are strong veterans so the acting and chemistry will be there. I heard Kim Young Dae was great in his last drama Moon in the Day, or maybe just okay but the drama was good, either way he’s coming into this project stronger.

  • Another actress that never seem to age... I have to say, I love to visit a good SK Dermatology clinic one day...

    • I went to one in South Korea a few months back that's popular for tourists. It's like an assembly line! I was herded into a room that was sectioned off with some short walls. Each section had a small bed in them (like a dentist's office). I had my micropeel, then a few mins later a doctor came to do the microneedling, and then some other stuff to help with potential redness after. The whole process happened so fast! My face did glow after though lol. Also, when I was walking around Gangnam at the malls and cafes, there were just random people with bandages around their faces (post plastic surgery) casually shopping and having coffee. It was definitely a culture shock for me (my first time in S Korea).

      • @Soph, Wow!!!! I must try! Did the facial treatment last? Do you think it was worth the experience? I also wonder how SKorea/China whiten skin so throughly, doesn't that thin skin and cause harm?

I have a list of works I like done on my face but my hubby said he will hand me a divorce paper if I change my face... Dont think it is due to being loving...likely not wanting me to spend the money. Keep for holidays. But skin treatment is fine...I can try this..

Thank you Soph, you are the first I know that have undergo this experience...so fun hearing from you!

      • I heard that the families in Korea give surgery to their children as a present for their birthdays. I thought that was exaggerated but recently I watched this experiment type of video on youtube from Korea with a popular and not so popular girl. In that video they are in their uniform so, I guess they are still in their high school and the popular girl face look like she had done so much on her face. Her face looked so stiff.

      • Plastic surgery is definitely no big deal in Korea. I think a lot of people get work done if they can afford it. I also saw a bunch of people clearly with rhinoplasty done. Koreans really value visuals.

@Hohliu, I actually thought it was worth it. It really did wonders for my dull dry skin. I don’t have acne or anything, but I have combination skin that’s really dry in some areas. The effects take about a week, but I got a lot of compliments about how my skin looked a lot more “glowy” and soft. The micro peel takes away the dead skin, and the microneedling injects (this one actually didn’t hurt) moisture to the surface of your skin to rejuvenate it.

I had some friends that got some minor work done. It’s so interesting all the things they can do for you. I had a friend who was going to do something call fat grafting for her under eye where they smooth out the fat there and fill in the hollow spots so it looks better. I never even knew that was a thing!

      • @Soph, wow, this industry is really heavily invested....all sort of different treatments. No wonder top stars with money always look like they never age...one needs money or power to get such regular treatment.

@Jammy, to start at such a young age, wow, I wonder if they ever stop.

  • What? Moon in the Day was really bad. Like neither of the actors had the talent to make a real angsty story and the story itself was bad. KYD was really bad with only 2 expressions. He's kinda good in comedic scenes like in Sh**ting Star because he can overact. But he can't do subtle so he's expressionless...

I have no idea what Shin Min-Ah's agency is doing by accepting him as a co-lead.

Poor Lee Sang-Yi is still the second male lead.

    • @Liuyi

Sorry you're such a loser with nothing better to do with your time than getting upset about an opinion. Have you considered looking for a sugar baby in the Caribbean instead?

  • Weird to hear that KYD was good in Moon in the Day? He was at his most terrible in that drama and it was a step back from Sh**ting Stars, though the poor script and directing in Moon probably worked against him too. Dramatic acting just doesn’t suit him. He comes off as expressionless when attempting to do subtle. I think he’ll be okayish in comedy and he does have good comic timing in that sitcom-y sort of way.

  • can anybody please do some digging on this guy cuz there’s no way he’s becoming the ML when Lee Sangyi exist as supporting character.

does he got some huge backup on his side?

  • We didn't see the same drama because Moon in the day was boring . I liked Pyo ye jin in Taxi driver but not in this drama and Kim Young Dae was the same as in The forbidden marriage , having dark circles under the eyes doesn't mean that you can express sorrow, pain,...It's unfortunate that actors as Lee Sang Yi can't be the lead in a rom com because of not being the good looking man . I find him very charismatic . As much as i like to watch Kdramas, since a few years i'm beginning tired of the diktat of "the beauty " over the charisma, the talent,..

  • Kim young dae oh no 😕
If you. Watched Moon in The Day you’ll know how awful he is. I just pity pyo ye jin who did so well in that drama
Now I feel bad bad Shim min ah and Lee sang Yi

  • Kim Young Dae was great in the comedic and saeguk parts of Moon in the Day, but the modern day (especially romantic) parts were quite meh. it didn't help that he was paired with Pyo Ye Jin who pretty much only has one setting - cutesy annoying with a pout

  • Did you hear that from a Kim Young Dae fan? Because every review I saw said he was very bad.
Kim Young Dae truly must have the best agent. He can't act,has no chemistry with his leading ladies and all his dramas have flopped but he still gets given lead roles with a top tier senior actress like SMA. SMA and LSY will have to do all the heavy lifting whilst he does his usual one note acting and looks pretty for the fangirls

    • I'm not a fan of Kim Young Dae,I know him only on Moon in the day, but i think that he's a really good actor. I enjoyed his role. And I saw his chemistry with actress as well.
I don't understand why do you think what everyone else think the same way as you.

  • Lol so many Kim Yong Dae haters gathered here. I watched Moon in the day, it was my first drama with him and he was good. And I don't have a preconceived opinion about actors because of their looks or anything else.
I'm sure he'll play his role well.
