So Netflix split the airing of K-drama Gyeongseong Creature into a two week break but it was still the same season and series, not a season 1 and season 2 situation. The goal seemed to be to mirror The Glory where the first part was such a hit it really buoyed excitement and viewership for the second half. Unfortunately this didn’t happen for GC which got mixed critic and audience reviews and doesn’t seem to have any online buzz or traction. Part 2 was released this weekend and with it the drama ends kinda quietly. But there is an Easter egg at the end which shows Park Seo Joon in the present day but the same character since he’s watching TV on an old school wood monitor and then the title card promising Season 2. Netflix will have to think long and hard whether to invest in a season 2 given this one with such a big budget generate the equivalent interest and reception. But apparently it is happening as K-ent is reporting that Lee Moo Saeng and Bae Hyun Sung will join the drama for season 2 set in 2024 Seoul with the two leads returning.
This year 2024 has been a slow year for K-actress Suzy in terms of her…
There are weird casting choices and this one is weird from both the leads itself…
Well this is an interesting pairing, setting aside the age difference at least I can…
I swear I just wrote about Song Joong Ki having his first baby and then…
At the end of the day, the core of any good drama remains the Story,…
If I didn't know this drama was a romance set in space and done K-drama…

Season 1 was all we needed. Instead, Netflix should give us Hospital Playlist 3 or another season of Kingdom
i read some rumour saying that Netflix is cancelling Kingdom which is a stupid move i would say.
Kingdom literally opened the door for other Netflix Korea original serie.
That is not true, a while ago, the writer said she's taking a break and do other projects and she'll come back that's why Netflix can't concretely say anything.
Frankly, watching this show made me realise how well crafted Kingdom was in comparison. Where's season 3 for that?
Kingdom is soo gooodd I wish I can erase my memories of watching it so I can rewatch and have 100% enthusiasm like the 1st time I watched it.
idk but to me Kingdom is by far the best kdrama Netflix ever produced, everything from the acting to the production values were top notch.
Did anybody even ask for a season 2?! I didn't even think season 1 was good.
Netflix just confirm season2, but the series is already done filming. They spent a few years filming this drama. If you read the interviews, the leads said they literally haven't seen each other for what seems more than a year until they meet again. It's evident, because the latest still are already out for season 2 (production is close).
