First Look at Concerned Gong Yoo and Calm Seo Hyun Jin in Netflix Thriller K-drama The Trunk
Netflix has high hopes for the 2024 K-drama season after a lackluster 2023 with the exception of The Glory. Aside from Squid Game 2 being the most high profile, along with Sweet Home 3 and Hellbound 2 additional sequels, they have on deck The Trunk (The Suitcase) as a high brow psychological drama about a woman who does contract marriages (with the full suite of wifely services) as a job and the man who is her latest client. The leads are A-listers Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin and the story is adapted from the same name novel so this will be one to expect quality over action.
