I don’t think there is anything bad about this and does bode well for the nimbleness of the production in changing up the format. Originally slated as a thriller K-movie, Tyrant which is done filming and through post-production has instead pivoted to becoming a short 4-episode drama airing on Disney+. Starring Cha Seung Won, Kim Sun Ho, and Kim Kang Woo, it’s a story centered around a mysterious South Korean government program called “Tyrant” and the three male leads intersect around the transport of the last piece of the Tyrant program. The drama is directed and written by the PD of The Childe, The Witch: Part 1: The Subversion and The Witch: Part 2: The Other One, and V.I.P. so very big credentials indeed.

Hmmm? It was supposed to be a movie on Disney+ or theaters? If it's the latter, then wouldn't changing to become a drama be a loss for them?
