It was already big news last week that top A-list male actors in South Korea Hyun Bin and Jung Woo Sung would be doing a K-drama together. It’s a thriller called Made in Korea set in the 1970’s revolving around the economic development of the country and the drug trade underbelly along with the dogged legal system. Binnie is playing a top drug king pin, Jung Woo Sung is a persistent prosecutor and now Jeon Yeo Bin is offered the female lead role as his legal assistant. Jeon Yeo Bin showed her chops in Vincenzo and I feel like K-ent was trying to make Shin Hyun Bin the next her and it just didn’t work AT ALL in Reborn Rich. If Jeon Yeo Bin signs on this will be an amazing cast.

Love this for her! I wonder if she will be paired up with Hyun Bin or Jung Woo Sung?
Shin Hyun Bin has very mediocre screen presence and isn't some great beauty or famous idol to explain why she transitioned into lead roles. It's really puzzling!
Looks like they all had a good time working together on Harbin.
I think JYB is extremely talented, and I’m unsure if this is actually a casting coup for her. In K-ent, when a female actress is paired with two male megastars, AND a male writer and director, her role typically ends up being diminished to a sidekick, or is weakly written.
For real. I double checked the director and surprised to find that its the same director as Harbin. To cast 2 main actors in 2 consecutive projects is quite unusual. They must have built great trust and good teamwork.
Binnie playing the bad guy is a rare treat. JYB was great in Vincenzo. Keeping this drama production and any news on my radar.
HB an antagonist? Or is there going to be a plot twist? Interesting. If this is something like The Fiery Priest, then it will be fun to watch and I'm all in. Otherwise, I'm usually not the one for criminal/legal dramas. I didn't even finish Vincenzo that's overhyped to me.
Mmmmm I don't like the age gap here, and JYB's acting really isn't my taste. I'd prefer an actress in Binnie and JWS's age range - Son Yejin would've been perfect actually but that's probably too on the nose lol. I'd just prefer a more seasoned veteran in her late 30s-40s to match the male casting.
Oh to see SYJ act again with HB and JWS in the same project, but that is utterly reaching for the moon, lol. Maybe if HB weren't in this film, she could have a reunion project with JWS. I've never seen a real-life K-ent couple do a project together other than CFs. So she's not an option for this one.
I agree about the age gap of JYB with the 2 actors, but if there's no love line, I think it's fine.
She was so good in Melo is My Nature and VIncenzo. I liked her in A Time Called you too. She has a presence on screen at the opposite of Shin Hyun-Bin and a way better actress.
