So unlike the recent image change attempted by Yang Chao Yue, this one feels totally on point and a bit of “what took you so long?” C-actress Wang Chu Ran attended a Gucci event last week where she wore a long black coat over a simple white t-shirt and black short shorts look coupled with sleek long hair, dark eyeliner, and a cool complexion. Reportedly she’s interested in transitioning her image from girl next door to haughty queen due to her bad publicity from the press circuit of Fireworks of My Heart days and also breaking up with rumored boyfriend Yang Yang and feeling totally used and dissed by his side sending out rumors that he was a mistreated boyfriend during the relationship. Going forward her stylist will eschew the pretty feminine looks for darker, edgier, high fashion outfits and makeup to see how that is received. Basically Wang Chu Ran thinks if her image is of a haughty bad girl then she might as well lean into it in her Dark Phoenix phase and see if it actually sticks better with her whole vibe. I totally think so.

To me (and just an image), she's always given the vibe of a haughty sociality, like the ones who play in the C-dramas that go around dressed up and slapping people the moment they enter a room. LOL. It's just an image since I don't really know her personality.

There is a lot of editing here but she looks better than her previous looks. This suits her way more.
