• There's many more of these vase actresses, but JJY and AB are some of the worst. It's a reprieve to not see AB onscreen acting anymore, and I hope JJY takes the hint. Yang Chao Yue should technically be 1st place, but at least she KNOWS she's bad, but JJY is like wuteva lol. Her attitude and inability to change is why cnetz don't like her.

  • Counterattack with what?? What excuse or reason are there to say?? Too many dramas at the point in which JJY was played exact replica of. There’s nothing to back her up & for sure not her acting. Now her fans & looks can but it can only go so far.

  • Yes, netizens. Believe it or not, it's pretty much unanimous on Chinese side that jjy is an awful actress. And things are almost never unanimous there so that ought to tell you enough.

Neutral viewers didn’t said anything bad but just said could be better! Terrible actress can't survive in China. Since she not major in acting she is not versatile but i still think she is good in crying scenes, sad scenes and she still has lacking in romance. For some role visual also matter more than acting. She is good in comedy.

  • Yea as long as she don't do anything illegal she'll keep getting offers. In fact her next drama is S tier xianxia drama Qian Xiang, where her makeup looks EXACTLY the same as all her previous dramas.

  • Although I dislike YCY acting but at least she still did good job in variety show. While JJY, she worst in all.

• AB & YCY are doing fine in variety shows, some are just not talented enough to act especially they are both not trained in acting college. JJY seems to be the worst. I am very surprised she can still get FL roles, none of her dramas get good reviews. And I have not seen her in any variety shows.

  • I sometimes think the people who complain like us and netizens are just the loud minority. JJY is very pretty and in any field that's what matters the most. I've seen comments in other dramas whereas people want to switch leads because second leads are much better looking. And actors with visuals will always always do much better and have a fandom for just existing.

  • she is that bad. i dropped it because of her crappy acting. MXH's character is supposed to be one of the most beautiful women in the sword and fairy world, so she's going to get criticized next to JJY, who has an amazing plastic surgeon.

  • I think she really is bad. I watched 4 dramas of hers already and they are all in the same trajectory. She can't like get rid of those wisps of hair. Like that's her counterpart to Esther Yu's annoying childish voice.

• She's not that bad in In Blossom to the point of unwatchable. But the drama is really boring I wonder why its even doing well.

• To be fair, the rope thing is probably the director's fault. I've watched dramas with both AB and JJY, and while JJY will not win any acting awards, she's not THAT bad. She has a certain natural charm and spark that makes her watchable. ZHHZ is a little overhyped IMO. She was fine but not anything extraordinary like people say. Something about her eyes bug me a bit, and she wasn't really that good after the body swap happened (albeit it was a very short scene).

  AB, on the other hand, is definitely bad lol.

  • ZHHZ seemed extra good because after the actress switch. I was like... wow so it could be that bad. When I saw the first two episodes, I just thought, oh she's cool, maybe a B-actress. Then with a comparison to JJY, I was like, ok the last chick is an A+ if this one is considered acceptable or a C.

• I just thought when they swapped face, the FL hair and clothes remain that of JJY character. Should it not be the face changed only? And they should have also gotten both actresses who are similar in body shape, not to even mention the mannerisms as one pointed out. Seems like not much thought given or it's a low budget drama. But these are basics IMO. And JJY is stark white bordering on bleaching skin but I'd like to think she is really very fair, but contrasting with super red lipstick makes her really ghostly. To me, YCY is pretty (seems w/o PS) and has the height but just not can act well, and not endearing when she acts so always get the hate. I do feel some actresses are more likeable/ have certain charisma that compensate for their limited acting.

• I feel like her makeup and image might be what her agency pushes to do just like how Esther yu’s agency does not want to stop the cutesy act sort of thing. You got to sell an image and something that stands out to create a fan base. They seem to rely heavily on that fan base. No excuse for no improvement in acting but it seems for a majority of Asian celebs function more on image than substance in general. If not Angela baby or jjy. There is bound to be many more like them. Just like how they always push idols and models to act and all you notice is the pretty and not much the acting. In fact most people overlook the acting because of the look factor. Then they whine about the acting when it is always about the visuals over there. If they put someone else who can act their heart out it would be just as ugly because of fan bases and netizens always critical on looks. Never ending cycle till they stop emphasizing visuals which won’t happen.

• Is it really boring? Do tell..why is it boring? I plan to watch it after it's done airing. But I do not want to waste my time if it's boring.

  • You should watch,its interesting,but those who can't stand ju jingyi,you shouldn't attempt.personally I think ju jingyi is OK,the cases are great,highly watchable.

  • Better than Shen Li, I think the plot is interesting and pacing is fast. If you watch for the romance between the leads, then you’ll probably find fault with JJY though? I’ve generally forwarded through the romances scenes. However I think White Cat Legend is a much better show if comparing similar mystery plot/ case solving type of shows.

    • Wanted to add that the romance completely does not do it for me, Liu Xueyi looks older than his actual age and she looks like a cosplayer. So he looks like her uncle.
