What disheartening news to hit K-ent this week, it’s just so out-of-the-blue as such things can be. K-singer Park Bo Ram is confirmed to have passed away at just 30 years of age. She was reportedly hanging out with friends at an apartment, excused herself to go to the bathroom, and then her friends found her unconscious on the floor where she was rushed to the hospital but didn’t make it. Many may not know Park Bo Ram’s name or her face but if you watch K-dramas you’ve heard her voice, she sang songs for the OSTs of well known dramas like Answer Me 1988, 49 Days, Hyde, Jekyll, Me and many more. She debuted after Superstar K2 competition in 2010 and has been active for over a decade in the industry. Condolences to her family and friends on this terrible loss.

RIP. Always a shock to see someone younger than me suddenly die. It never occurred to be that she started out so young. She was only a teenager when she sang for the 49 Days OST.
