• He looks like a female ghost. Took me a moment to recognize him. But he is so pretty.

• So anemic.

• Looks like they were going for a painting/drawing effect, so they're not supposed to be photo realistic looking.

• Cnetz mocked the heck out of these. They edited the right side where she is lifting the sword and changed it into a giant ear cleaning cotton stick that she is sticking into his nose.

  Not a promising start.

• The poster is so heavy photoshoped, it looks like death masks not living faces. Especially him with the closed eyes. eerie...

• I hope Bai Lu can finally leave Yu Zheng after this drama. She had been too overworked despite mentioning she wanted to have a long break. Seems like Yu Zheng asked her to lose weight for this drama making her thinner, as well. Seriously what’s wrong with this guy? He is so toxic. I cannot imagine it easy leaving him, even Chen Xiao suffers under his management before managing to leave

  • I remember Chen Xiao was tired of doing Idol dramas only.. Now he might not be a liuliang but he has picked a number of good dramas. I am glad he left and could now take control over his career.

  • Same. She had so much spark and potential when she first got famous but this on and on conveyor belt of dramas most of which are mediocre idol dramas has left her depleted and just going through the motions. I hope she can get out from under Yu Zheng's thumb.

• To brag about this drama being better than world
  Success drama Globin and Glory and then he gave viewers these crap.

• I actually like the poster even though they don't look like the actors. It looks like a painting.

  I kind of feel sorry for Bai Lu, if it's true that she can't say "no" to any dramas while under contract. She seems to be working non-stop. After a while, all her portrayals are going to meld into one.

• Well, I don't mind giving this a look, if and when it airs. But I agree that photo editing has become a plague.
  By the way, Ao Rui Peng's face is not odd, he's fine, poor guy. His plague is that he looks a lot like Dylan Wang so they always try to accentuate the similarity. So us viewers are always "oh, Dyl...oh, no, who's that? Odd!:

  • Yes! I had been doing that. They style him the same. He didn’t look like him at all when he was playing 3ML in Imperial Student blahblahblah with LuSi and Xu Kai Cheng. I also think he is a little better actor than Dylan before the Dylan makeover 😂.

• Free Bai Lu, Xu Kai and Wang Xing Yue from that sicko...they deserve better.

  • however without Yu Zheng’s connections, they probably wouldn’t become famous so quickly….. YZ knows how to create buzz… WXY is a decent actor, but his shorter statue is a disadvantage without YZ’s casting. BL has her talents, but she is not outstanding in her looks. XK cannot act.

    • WXY is 183 which is more or less Wu lei, Xiao Zhan etc. His height is fine.

    • @Hmm - do not believe what's reported in the internet. Have you watched the drama First Love (2022)? Maybe he has grown since then... Anyways, I am not being negative about WXY. Good luck in his career.

    • agreed! Their fans act like talent is the gateway to their success. BL literally is straight up female lead w/ an exception of 1 drama that he specifically wrote for her & purposefully write so that the female lead had no way to overshadow BL’s character. Can’t denied that she is talented but girl had the BEST help/resource in the drama entertainment. When there is no good projects, he literally gives his in-house drama to her.

    • Agree YZ definitely knows how to create buzz. Whatever you think of the guy, there’s no denying that he’s very attuned to what makes fandom culture tick, and he keeps going online and saying shit so that he can bring attention to his artistes without having to pay for marketing. I honestly don’t think he cares for his own reputation, he’s just stingy, and by playing the bad guy, he creates pity and sympathy for his artistes which helps to solidify their fandoms. They succeed, he laughs all the way to the bank. I think he made a misstep in Xu Kai’s case, though, by using him to fuel relationship rumours with Bai Lu and Zhao Qing. While it helped to bring the girls attention, it’s probably one of the reasons why XK hasn’t truly made it to the top tier - too many relationship rumours which puts off the truly dedicated fangirls.
