The first promos for sci-fi movie Wonderland have been less than wonderous but having such a stacked cast still makes it worth checking out. The youngest leads are Park Bo Gum and Suzy who play a couple who meet again through an AI generated simulation. The movie is billed as dreamy and heartwarming, with Park Bo Gum able to generate chemistry with nearly everyone and Suzy having improved so much in recent years this is one onscreen pairing that if it works should totally get a longer reunion in a drama. The leads shared cute pictures recently in BTS shots and are definitely serving good friends energy.

I agree completely. Maybe bec I come from a different culture, I thought the pic was normal especially since both looked drunk but then I saw many news outlets calling it an "intimate picture" & many on SNS called them a couple so I thought maybe it's a SoKor thing.
But now I see people going gaga over this pic which looks to be equally "intimate" so now I am side eyeing everything haha
Lol, tbh the ruckus was mostly due to KSR being an outcast and KSH being the hottest star at that moment. The attention it got was more than what that photo warranted and it ended up being blown out of proportion. Once the clarifications was made it died quite quickly. It was hardly a full 24 hrs in total. Some of the “scandals” in Korea are just downright stupid lmao
Both are just so attractive together... Visually both have equal high aesthetics.

Onscreen chemistry can be a real mystery, some have it and some just don't and my only conclusion is it has nothing to do with how good the actors are or how good looking they are - even good actors can have none or make a pairing that is textbook nice but never heats up the screen.
And of course there are some actors who will have chemistry with even a tree as long as it gives them something to work with (the leads of one recently concluded drama come to mind) or make up for it in some way.

That still counts for “nearly everyone” cause he only had one fail chemistry with psd. In his history, Bogum is known to have great chemistry with all his costar, no matter the gender.
And he and sodam shows good chemistry off cam so maybe the directing and writing is the problem.
They are so cute. Korean netizens have been manifesting this pairing since 2016, calling them the visual representatives of their generation and comparing them to a prince and princess. Their interactions always go viral in Korea, i.e. Baeksang hand heart, cheek-to-cheek selfies, etc. Whether the film does well or not, the constant raving and buzz over their every interaction guarantees that we'll see these two reuniting in a drama eventually. Especially since Suzy has won over the audience and critics with her acting since Anna.

Suzy is also one of the rare actresses with the privilege of reuniting with her past costars. She's already been offered a drama with Bogum once, they're Baeksang's beloved duo (nicknamed Baeksang's Face & Baeksang Icon), and were also the ideal casting among Koreans for a Goong remake a few years back (many viral edits, posts on The Qoo/Pann, and media reports). PD Lee Yong Ju of Architecture 101 and Seobok also sent them a food truck during filming and personally visited them on set. Even their peers (Gong Yoo and Tang Wei) have gushed about them. All things considered, Bogum and Suzy's reunion in a drama is sealed.
I was impressed by Suzy in Anna and Doona. She's like finally having a quantum leap in her acting. I recalled she used to be dinged constantly on this site in the past and I am happy about her growth. I've not seen Bogum on screen for a long while. If they had a drama version, I'd definitely check it out. Korean movies? Not yet appealing enough for me to watch unless they make it big like parasite.
