  If she really is the main lead, it will be unfortunate for the drama that corporate interests win on this.

• Its rumored between her and Chen Yuqi but I'll honestly prefer Chen Yuqi. Both are wooden in acting but at least Chen Yuqi looks more beautiful, and was good in her role as Zhao Min. This actress, on the other hand, was dislikable in MLC.

• I thought they had a few cute beats in a young uncle who understands/supports his impertinent niece sort of way in MLC. Would feel weird about them being a romantic pairing. She was more paired with Zeng Shun-xi's who was the son of Cheng Yi's character's older-brother-like friend.

• You people need to get yourself checked. Why would huanrui need to hide behind other agencies? why wouldn't they announce themselves as the production company of the drama? MLC is from Huanrui, I don't see anybody hiding that fact. And you're also the same person that said fsmm is also from hunarui🤣 So what?       XZ fandom love to think their idol's career is moving to greater heights but he's still doing idol dramas(he's only one year younger than CY) and is not much invited to international festivals from what I know (I'm waiting for him to come at Cannes Festival and not as a model)

      I'm not even a Wang Yibo fan (I really don't care about the guy and watched none of his works) but fact is that his projects seem more diversified and he was even nominated for a prestigious award (Golden Rooster)+ worked alongside freaking Tony Leung (an actor globally known and this, even if you don't follow Asian entertainment)

      Youth Memories is not an idol drama, "only" a big hit CCTV period drama. Neither is Legend of Zanghai. Remember that one? The one Cheng Yi so desperately wanted? So much so he bought the hell out of hot searches and them embarrassed himself in front of Zheng Xiaolong in person by not even being able to speak Mandarin. Funny how that worked out and the ML went to Xiao Zhan. His extensive theatre experience helped there, not that Cheng Yi can relate, considering he can't even speak properly.

      Do you perhaps think Legend of the Condor Heroes is an idol drama? Or the following war movie could be so in your delusional head. And guess what, all these projects are his, without anyone carrying them for him. Kong Sheng next.

      Enjoy yet another costume drama for a 35yo produced by his own company. It's extra ironic that you, a fan of someone stuck in idol costumes is talking about diversity to a fan of someone who did Xianxia, modern life, period drama, martial arts, historical and next war genre. That is diversity.
