I can only say thank god this drama is airing on global platform Netflix which for the most part doesnโt have to adhere to as much of the social cues as the mainstream channels in Korea. Otherwise this would probably be shelved but instead game show mystery thriller K-drama The 8 Show is arriving on cue. Starring an ensemble cast of 8 leads with Ryu Jun Yeol and Chun Woo Hee being the most well known. The press conference ended up being Ryu Jun Yeol being asked questions about the whole love transit issue with Han So Hee and Hyeri a few months ago, with both now being his ex-girlfriends. That was followed by supporting lead Bae Seung Woo bowing low to apologize for his drunk driving arrest recently as well. I hope the drama is more interesting than this press conference.

Thatโs so wild that they put the heat on them both before their show gains traction. So embarrassing. But I guess that is the consequences of being apart of that industry.
Well they had to face this sooner or later, getting over it on the first promo interview is the best, or else the press will keep asking this questions, LOL I get a second hand embarrassment

So embarrassing that their personal messes overshadowed the press conference and how awkward for the rest of the cast.
I was also very surprised to see Lee Yul Eum in this cast of talented actors as her acting is just terrible and her filmography is very weak. She is very much the the odd one out compared to the rest of the cast when it comes to talent but then I saw that she was dating the director (who is 21 years older than her by the way) and it all makes sense lol.
Director denied these rumors at this conference
Hmmm...possibly they have broken up now but their dating news was revealed last August during filming of this drama and neither of them denied the rumours. Her agency only gave a very ambiguous answer about how it was "hard to confirm" if they were dating or not. Maybe they were in a serious relationship, maybe he was her sugar daddy or her sponsor, maybe it was just casual but seems like something was going on with them.
No way an agency wouldn't outright deny their 20-something actress is dating a director old enough to be her father if it was false. I don't believe a newspaper would bother to make up this rumour about an unpopular, barely known actress and a top senior director out of nowhere either.
How embarrassing for the rest of the cast and crew.
Also, drunk driving is one thing, but a person being roasted for their personal lives while doing a work-related interview is more shameful for the ones asking the questions than for those asked.
Pathetic !
Lol these journalist are too much, did they attend the drama press conference only for getting his words on his transit love saga?
Well, didn't everyone want to know what he has to say about his two girls? Now you all have your answer. And it only took Netflix to get the answers. *clap clap clap*
Private lives! Good or bad, leave them alone!
