  • I recall Yu Zheng said Zhao Qing looks like Zhao li ying and also talented like the her… I beg to differ. By the way fus he change her name? I saw her in Scent of Time and I was
    not impressed.

    As for Lin yun, she pouts all the time. Her facial gestures are always the same. Crybaby face. She hasn’t improve at all … her acting is far worse than Ju Jingyi. At least JJY is pretty, acts sensible without annoying gestures.

    • Agree with you. I thought Zhao Qing was incredibly boring/bland in Scent of Time.

      Lin Yun does have a natural pouty face. I heard she was good in Imperfect Victim, but I didn't see it. I was not terribly impressed with her in Dream of Splendor.

      Yes. Boring and bland. Exactly! Zhao Qing was not memorable at all.
      Jelly Lin acts the same in all her dramas….her co-star in Dream of Splendour, Crystal Liu, really surprised me coz her mannerism, gestures, speech and acting were different from her previous characters.
      Allen Fang gave a sensitive and layered performance in The Long Ballad. So I am happy for him.

• Gosh FYL is so handsome and talented but dang he has the worst luck. I actually think Lin Yun is very pretty but she just lacks charm. I really hope this turns out to be a surprising good drama.

• I've only seen Jelly Lin in A Dream of Splendor and had heard of her bad acting rep but I was pleasantly surprised I thought she was pretty good acting as a spoiled/ jealous beautiful lady. I'm not completely dismissing this yet.

• Alen Fang is one of the examples of lacking connections and backing that's also why we are seeing so many untalented, ugly, boring, and embarrassing MLs in C dramas. Same goes for actresses.
