This Friday evening was the premiere of the Peter Chan directed C-movie She’s Got No Name starring Zhang Zi Yi at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. The cast and crew walked the red carpet with Zhang Zi Yi taking center stage radiating her top actress poise and presence despite a few year break having kids. Other well known stars in the movie who attended the premiere including Yang Mi and Li Xian who looked like such a dish in a class tux with his tall frame. Yang Mi was eye catching thanks to how shiny her silver dress was as well as her hair and makeup being impeccable, but Zhang Zi Yi was definitely the star of the show as she should be.

Horrible look for ZZY. She needs a new stylist. This is. This is not a one off thing.
But I hope the movie is successful, it’ll be nice Cmovies to get some int’l recognition for once.
Li Xian is such a pleasure for my eyes! Will Love in Spring was really great.
One thing is certain, Zhang Ziyi still carry presence in the industry... there is a clear short of the Cannes photographers focusing on her and taking photos. Unlike some of the others who was blur.
I may not be Zhang Ziyi's fan but I still remember her character in House of Flying Daggers... I can see how she become popular in the West. She pay Xiao Mei well. I still love the Drum dance. Her 2 leads did not out shine her at all.
I noticed how none of the female artiste trying to upstage each other... Both actress are just there to support the movie and promote the movie.
I do find this photo of the cast members to be treasured for memories and telling their off springs etc.. A proud moment.
I am saying this because there may be a number of movie awards board in China, the brand is still new, Unlike 金馬影展 who China is no longer a participating. I feel to be in Cannes is a moment to be proud off.
But what interest me more is how the artistes are enjoying their stay in Cannes...it is a beautiful City... I hope they artiste take time to tour and relax apart from working. I am sure it is a tourist trap season but they can afford it, just stay in Groups and get a trusted tour guide.

Who are the "both actress are just there to support and promote the movie"
There is no "both" actresses anywhere. There is only 1 Yang Mi who came to promote the movie. The one who didn't show up is not even supporting the movie. She marketed that she is not attending bc she is so upset at how the movie is "using" her. Then, she also marketed that YM's appearance at Cannes look so bad and in no comparison with her. Also that Cannes were mistaking YM for ZLY, and that Cannes missed ZLY so much, they compliment her everywhere making YM looked angry. Also so much more. Did you just write that stuff up a week ago and pasted in because you're tired of marketing for ZLY?

I see 2 actress in these photos, you must have sight issue not to see the 2 beautiful women. As for Zhao Liying, it is her choice not to attend. I have no opinion why she did it...and frankly, I dont care.

Yang Mi looks gorgeous, Zhang Ziyi needs to fire her stylist she is such a pretty lady. I saw CiSha solo pictures earlier and i need him as male lead in multiple dramas. He is so dreamy.
I was just about to comment on Ci Sha, that guy looks so hot with his long hair and I'm so happy he decided to keep it(I've known him for a few years now)

Its weird that Zhao liying is not there at Cannes after all that fighting over billing order,I thought all celebs clamor to be at Cannes.

I think to her, when you're known in the industry, the fashion doesn't take priority as much. It's when you are less known that you need pretty clothes to attract photographers to you.
