  • Wish she plays a regal noblewoman, princess, or queen in a sageuk next!

    • It's the delicate but defined features that give her that aristocrat look, something about the combination of eye shape and nose really does it

      A face like hers can't be obtained from a plastic surgeon, good on her for recognising it and not PSing her beautiful nose to look more trendy or approachable.

    • @Royal We That's a nice analysis and I totally agree! Obviously, she's conventionally beautiful, but at the same time, she's a not cookie-cutter type of beauty, and it's always a good thing for an actress to have a memorable look

    • They should spend those billions of won making sets for the three kingdom era because the costumes and jewellery from those times are so regal and unique. Unlike Joseon which is boring and women had so many restrictions. I’d love to see her as a warrior queen from those times because it would slay. Instead of bad sci-fi dramas or space romcom or overpaid actors money should be spent on elaborate set design and costumes.

    • There was a plastic surgeon on tiktok saying she has alot of work done. As someone with no eye for these things what do i know, I do know that apparently according to him everyone has work done even cha eunwoo.

    • @teloos wait, I saw her childhood pics and I think she looked the same as now? I know like 99.9% of people in the entertainment industry got something done, whether it's a little filler or something drastic like a jaw shave surgery, so I'm not saying that KJW is 100% natural for sure. But if she did got something done, it must be super subtle because she looks the same from her childhood pics, earlier dramas, to now. Just my opinion

  • yeah she's kinda like a female version of lee soo hyuk to me, visuals-wise. both always look expensive and, as royal we said, aristocratic

• Koala, you have an eye for style and vogue. This is one of the best pictorial I've ever seen. KJW looks totally alluring.

    • Perhaps I haven's seen enough fashion pictorial and therefore can't tell which is generic. I'm not one for fashion vogue etc.. Both my dad and my hubby dismiss things like this and therefore don't care. LOL. I just found myself indifferent to most fashion posts Koala blogged in the past. But I do find this pictorial of KJW appealing to me.

      I couldn't recognize KJW in some of the pics though. She looked so different with change of makeup and styling.

  I was watching some promo videos for My Liberation Notes from a couple of years ago and you can see she has lots a lot of weight. I have always thought she was very pretty but the weight loss and going from brown to lomg, black hair have made her even more beautiful.

  • I think her old look and makeup style for her characters was very 'girl next door' and she's pretty enough to make it all work

    but seeing her styled as Hong Haein/in this shoot really brought home just how much better she looks with a more luxurious/edgy look that isn't playing down her features. The black hair and cool-toned makeup do a much better job of emphasising her looks, high contrast is the way to go for her.

• the other pictures from the shoot are even better, she's absolutely stunning and there's no doubt her face and expressiveness is elevating some of these random clothes and shots.

  I hope she keeps her QOT hair and makeup look, it really shows off her beauty in a different way and good for her Bulgari paid attention to how fabulous she looked in their stuff in the drama since they've now picked her to endorse their perfume lol.

  • She needs to be a beauty ambassador asap, I don't know how these brands have already snatched her up. But she's so ninja haha I can imagine attending events would be a struggle for her.

    • yeah she would be so perfect for one of those posh makeup brands especially coming off this role. Something with lots of photoshoots so we get to see more of her face!

• Some of these angles though! They look painful to excite.

  I had seen this pictorial before and what immediately struck me was her chameleon type features. I had to look hard at some photos to believe it was her, her looks change depending on the makeup and outfit she wears. The sign of an extraordinarily versatile beauty.

• She resembles Park Gyu Young in that 1st picture. She looks really beautiful. She looks very different with bangs and without bangs. I didn't realize that she has lost her weight. She was always on the thinner side, right?

  • Yes. She was already slim which is why I feel bad for praising the weight loss as she didn't need to lose weight at all. It is also her new hair, better makeup, better styling but it all combined to give her a luxurious feel she didn't have before IMO.

    • I’ve been hoping for her to get a new mua for the longest time, since the DOTS era when they highlighted her features so well, and she looked stunning then. Finally, she has a new team that is doing an amazing job.

• Damn, she's such a chameleon when it comes to photoshoots. She always surprises with her versatility, effortlessly pulling off different style/looks

• The kind of actress who can play in anything . Her kind of beauty doesn't overshadow her acting ! A chameleon as i didn't recognize her in some photos .

• She's truly one of the most beautiful faces in k-ent IMO. I love this photoshoot and I'm obsessed with the 4th pic!
