    • I believe people can change for better when they learnt a lesson. No point judging her for her past behaviours. I hope she will treasure this opportunity to be a good actress and person.

• She looks very beautiful. Hope she can land on her feet and make a good comeback. I would love to see her in a drama again. My guess is her best bet would be to star in a straight to Netflix production. International audiences are more forgiving and would not care so much about past relationship scandals. I hope she has learned from this and makes a fresh start.

• It's funny that I had mentioned her being one of the two actresses I could see working with Byeon Woo Seok in a romantic drama and it probably not happening with her career in a stand still, and then the next day this news is released. I think she's better off doing movies and streaming service exclusives for the time being. I think with an acclaimed performance, she'll be back to her IONTBO status.

    • I hope his scandal isn't the fact that he's possibly dating at the fully grown man age of 32 years old. He was barely on most people's radar until Lovely Runner happened. The way he looks, it would be a shock if wasn't dating. He's an actor not an idol, so he should be just fine. It's honestly the best way to shake off the fair weather fans. It did wonders for IU.

• Thank you Mz Koala for the article really appreciate it and Sublime IG gained a couple of thousand YJ fan followers as well and YJ IG hit 1 million last night on her name alone. I know this is going to upset a lot of your regular commentators here but hey Sublime must think otherwise and offered an exclusive contract and word ha it that there is casting news somewhere on the horizon - but who knows. I am extremely grateful that she wasn't cancelled out right kinda like Song Ha Yoon and Kim Hie Ora with their alledged bullying claims and that her time with Gold Medalist - they did their uttmost best to support and protect her.

• For an international drama fan like me who watched her breakout drama IONTBO later after her relationship mishap, nothing to be forgiven about. I still don't have much idea of what the heck was going on for SK netizens to cancel her, neither do I care LOL. I only know she impressed me more in IONTBO than her ML KSH even I watched the drama for the latter. She is a versatile actress. I hope to see her on screen again.

  • @Suzan -Your opinion my dear but 1 million YJ IG followers don't think of her personailty and behaviour being dark just you and your imaginary friends do but rest assured Sublime most likely thought about it but still went ahead and offered a exclusive contract. Mind you 50K likes on the Sublime IG on YJ post alone says a lot. Their office is going to get inundated with gifts for YJ now that she has an agency.

      You can just say that strangers can't know her personality, and that her relationship is her personal business, and regular k-drama watchers shouldn't give a damn about it.
      Honestly, @Susan, you should stop play in justice police, your moral standards have nothing to do with SYJ or any other actress. As long as SYJ didn't physically harmed anyone her relationship is not your business.
      And I mean that not only about SYJ, if you think that I'm covering eyes on her scandal just because I'm her fan. The same goes to other people as well, I'm glad I can still watch dramas with Lee Byun Hon and to not care about his relationship with his wife. I'm not even a fan of Kang Seon Ho and Han So Hee, but glad they could continue to act no matter that people talk about them. Because whatever they do behind the stage, if this isn't crime, is not our business.

    • But @Ksena her IG following does deserve mention because of relevancy and IG following gets you noticed by brands which means recognition and $$.Naver is writing articles on her IG posts alone -it certainly must be a slow day in the office for them if that's all they care to write about. Obviously they know the click for views they get with a Yea Ji article.This is someone who was outright cancelled -gone, kaput, the end back in 2021 but is to this day gaining followers left right and centre. There is a YT site under 'Miss K Drama' and I guess she has to write about Yea Ji every couple of months just to get the views and comments. She is forever removing my comments cos I keep calling her out especially with the damn voiceover she gives -copy and pasting all her previous YJ commentary into the current one. However that backfired cos the majority of the replies she got were in favour of YJ returning and these people are not yeyes they're casual fans of YJ the actress. So right now I love the Sublime agency because they cared enough to sign her on regardless of all the commotion and I think my days on this blog are nearing the end cos there is no real need to go on the defensive anymore.

  • Yeah, I remember seeing her in Hwarang and then in IONTBO, I could not believe that it is the same person. I guess makeup may have made a difference too but only makeup wouldn't transform a person like that. Whatever she did worked for her so, I guess it's good.

    • I always thought she has great plastic surgery. You can see from as recently as Hwarang in 2016 she has had plenty of work done particularly the new nose is very obvious but I think her surgeon did a very good job as it looks pretty natural (if you didn't know what her old nose looked like) and elevated her appearance because she was just average looking before.

  • Yes the nose is super obvious that's because it's smack bang in the middle of her face but all the PS quips sure but it's the eyebrows that were bushy as pre IOTNBO then after along with eyeliner made her stand out even more. But hey if Park Min Young can do it and Kim Ah Joong too -both do not even resemble anything like their previous selves then I guess what is a bit of PS amongst friends! Also SK and their predilection for PS perhaps if they put all that energy and obsession into having kids then I guess they wouldn't be in the crisis they're in now. Back to PS I seriously wonder if I could do that to my face because where I come from it's actually taboo to make cosmetic changes to what you were born with. You would be ridiculed, mocked and then your parents would be accussed of not raising you right. Yeah I couldn't do PS not with my family and friends opinions I would never have a day's rest with my brand new face.

    • I am fully comprehend your PS temptation...I too have moments I look at the mirror and I am keen to try it too.... I contemplate paying to visit a surgeon and use the high tech method to visualise a print out of how my looks can change under the knife.
      No need to go thru with it...but just the print out will be good enough. 🤣🤣
      My hubby did say if I go under the knife...he will divorce me...he love me as I am. Dont do anything to my face.
      Seo Ye Ji has a good surgeon, I believe her good bone structure helps too.
