I feel like Son Ye Jin has been there for my entire K-entertainment involvement, from her early K-movies like The Classic to her many dramas and wide-ranging film career, she’s earned her top actress perch and then some. She’s been on hiatus the last two years after marrying fellow top actor Hyun Bin and the couple welcoming their first child together. She kicked off July with a high profile public appearance attending the opening of the 2024 Bucheon Interational Fantastic Film Festival where she was featured in a special exhibit covering her two decade acting career. She wore all white for both her appearances which definitely fit the season but I felt more color would have been prettier on her.

I adore SYJ. She’s gorgeous in both outfits despite the lack of color but I love love love her white vest and baggy pants look. It’s so classy despite being so hard to pull off. She’s beautiful!

This lady and his hubby in Crash Landing on You are still among my favorite OTPs on screen. Love to see her radiant with happiness in public. I assume she isn't pretending it. Even SYJ has been past the age to deliver the kind of rosy romance and fantasy she had done before, I hope to watch her again in other genres that are not romance focused. She is such a talented and versatile actress that I admire besides other actresses like Gong Hyo Jin in that age group.
What I love seeing is sincerely happy faces on artistes... Son Ye Jin has such a face... I am so happy she is in such a happy marriage and family.

Film is where she shines, so I'm excited that she's back in Chungmuro land! Probably one of the most well-respected and acclaimed actresses in SK with no scandals. That's why the general public loves her. I also love her aura--she looks so approachable and cheerful, same positive vibe I get from KTR.
What an honor for her to star in a PCW project. Definitely a feather in her already filled-up cap. PCW is known to have really amazing female characters in his filmography, so I'm looking forward to the film!
