Lost You Forever Part 2 is past the midway point in its shorter than Part 1 airing length and this time around there are no trending searches for any of the three CPs in the drama. Reportedly Yang Zi this time around does not want to do any CP promotions with any one of her male leads Zhang Wan Yi, Deng Wei, and Tan Jian Ci, not any falling out she simply doesn’t see the need and feels the drama stands on her own acting and star power. She’s not wrong as her character anchors the entire story and as the men come in and out of her lives we get the sense she will be fine whomever she ends up with. The lack of CP shipping for LYF2 has minimal impact on Zhang Wan Yi who has his own arc, no impact on Tan Jian Ci as his male lead is the most popular standalone, and tons of impact on Deng Wei who got famous last summer with all the CP shipping with Yang Zi.

I don’t even care about the men, I just want Xiao Yao character to live peacefully. Todays episode gutted me and I knew it was coming. Yang Zi cemented the feels I got from her as an actress with Battle of Changsha (my fave of hers).
Yes, she was phenomenal in Battle of Changsha. It was not years later when I was watching one of her newer dramas that I realised that it was Yangzi in BoC, I remembered the character and the amazing acting but never got to stanning the actress. Which is how it should be for most actors and the their projects, disappearing into the character and the story
I dropped LYF (do not care about any of the men) but like Yang Zi’s attitude! And she has the talent to shine on her own without the need to attach to any male lead.
Btw anyone watching As beautiful as you? It’s a pleasant surprise to me I’m enjoying it so much. Love the chemistry of the leads, and Xu Kai nevers look better.
Yes! Tan Songyun and Xu Kai’s chemistry is off the roof! The plot is standard idol drama fare and the first 8 episodes went a little too slow for my liking at the start, but I’m glad I held on to it. Things went uphill from episode 9 and I’m totally enjoying it now.
Oh..I have to watch that after the drama finish airing…I adore Tan Songyun…she makes people comfortable acting with her. Which is very important.
Yes, I’ve always enjoyed Tan Songyun’s dramas. I recommend Flight To You if you haven’t watch it yet 😊
Yes the plot is the same old story but the drama is surprisingly charming and quite thoughtful as well. I adore the leads. Tan Song Yun acting is so natural as always and Xu Kai’s acting has improved a lot.
How strange, I see no chemistry whatsoever there. People really are different lol
@Abc I like Tan Songyun’s acting the most out of all the 90er Chinese actresses. She may not be the most beautiful but her looks are comfortable to my eyes.

The whole concept promote CP from any drama is weird for me. Even for romance drama. Its can be toxic because some people would ship the actor/actress not the charas.

in this drama pairing just for fan servis. with multiplay leads.. this contradictive with human nature. one woman only for one man..the war is predictable for me
I have to agree, LX and YZ have the best chemistry among her other costars, DL comes second to this.
I beg to disagree. I think Den Lun and Xiao Zhan had the best chemistry with YZ among all her costars. I liked Ashes of Love, but none of YZ’s dramas afterwards even I liked her in Go Go Squid and her costar Xiao Zhan in the Oath of Love.
It is wise not to promote CP. In the end, people will only watch if you are paired up again and this gets old. Your talent as an actor goes unnoticed because fans are too committed to one CP. YZ does a good job at pairing up with new people often. So there is always a fresh couple to watch.
