So the viewers of Lost You Forever Part 1 who fell in love with Xiang Liu played by Tan Jian Ci are only going to love him even more in Part 2, and it’s already happening. Within a week of LYF2 airing, Tan Jian Ci is just behind Yang Zi in the hot buzz chart and reportedly the highest buzz numbers for any actor or actress playing a special role (not either of the two leads). iQiyi was toying between premiering it’s period drama Go East starring Tan Jian Ci and Zhou Yi Ran now to capitalize on it but has decided to wait until right after the Olympics ends in mid-August and premiere it then. So be on the lookout for this drama coming next month and it’s going to be a whiplash character and acting change from his current Xiang Liu persona.

Lost You Forever 2 is NOT as good as the 1st one and I think the wait time between them made it not so exciting for me. I’m just speaking for myself here.
I can't wait. Tan Jian Ci is such a versatile actor and is not limiting himself to only specific roles. So talented, can't wait to see him in Go East, looks like it's a comedic role too.
I haven't watched him in anything, but I am very glad there is at least one actor that breaks the "super tall" stereotype. It feels that lately actors are promoted for being tall and handsome, not for their acting talent.
Don't you all get upset, I don't mean that EVERY tall actor cannot act.
I'm a little worried that they rushed this out, as it's been less than a year since it wrapped. Hopefully it doesn't have many special effects. I am glad to hear that they are waiting till after the Olympics. I hope it does spectacularly for iQiYi.
