Dilraba Dilmurat’s Female Revenge Drama Gets Four Different Actors in Talks for the Slate of Male Leads
So I thought this C-drama was on ice due to the difficulty of casting a bevy of male leads opposite Dilraba Dilmurat that she can take revenge on because each guy is a cheating asshole as she time and world hops around. The drama is titled 万花世界 (Wan Hua Shi Jie or Hundred Flower World) and is adapted from a manhwa and last year confirmed the drama adaptation and the female lead but the first go-around of potential male leads included Dylan Wang, Zhang Ling He, Lin Yi, Aou Rui Peng and many more for the cast. It then went on casting discussion hiatus as Dilraba filmed Love on the Turquoise Land with Chen Xing Xu and next month she’s off to film Love Beyond the Grave with Chen Fei Yu, so I was not expecting any word on this drama. And yet here it is, a new melon that the drama remains in development with an eye towards filming at the end of the year and the male leads in talks are Hou Ming Hao, Wang Xing Yue, Cheng Lei, and Tian Jia Rui. That’s a whole lotta pretty boy preening to come lol.

Did you just say Cheng lei is ugly? Mmm don’t think so. He is fairly handsome and tian jia rui is odd looking I guess due to his eyes looking beady and face oddly shaped but don’t know if I would say he is ugly maybe not so male lead material face. Everyone listed has a quirky face that may or may not appeal to others but they can somehow act but who is to say if any of this is true anyways. For all we know this may change because of the doomed billing messes that come with this.

The guys act miles better than Dilraba who is an awful actress.
WXY is the only who have more work proving he is a good actor and can become much better if he wish to be.
@Merry You misunderstood. I wasn't shading Neo here, I was talking about our heroine. The four actors would act circles around her. Wang Xing Yue being the one with most potential imo.
@panda Sorry if it's ur bea but WXY is literally the worst in that group in terms of acting LOL, with his stiff and wood acting, Neo Hou since he is the most veteran/popular actor probably will get the first billing as ML and the most screen time in the drama otherwise his team will never accept the offer, but I dont think he will take this role anyway even with Dilraba as FL.

Well, i rather they use different male lead in every arc.
It interesting if they scoot new talent for every MLs, there thousand rookie actor out there and i believe there will be a diamond (someone with decent acting and look).

Some of these guys act miles better than Dilraba.
The agency of each one is probably thinking, arguing and listing all the pros and cons that comes with working with Dilraba.
Why is casting an issue for this show when there were 4 male leads in Tale of Rose, 3 of which are very popular and established? They were given special lead status, I guess. I think this whole billing thing has become a thorn for the younger generation of actors.
Maybe not so much billing but scheduling? Up and coming young actors are likely booking back to back projects to exploit the momentum they have. Otherwise you might have a case like Ding Yuxi who has received backlash for filming multiple shows simultaneously.
Ah you can be criticized for that? Did he cause a production delay or did bad in acting? Cause I think in korea shooting multiple work at the same time is to be proud of

My vote goes to Cheng Lei, he's the better actor and would totally slay it as a cheating scumbag (in the sense that he's a good actor, I am not implying anything about the guy).
Hopefully WXY isn't in this. I don't want to see him as a cheater.
I hope he has a good sense to turn it down. His career is just taking off thanks to The Double. Don't let a poor actress to jinx it. LOL.
