So it’s not just one legal K-drama doing well in ratings and reviews right now, with Good Partner dominating the weekends for SBS. During the weekdays, small cable network ENA quietly premiered legal and gang violence K-drama Your Honor last week and in four episodes the drama has doubled in ratings from 1.736% to now 3.667%. Starring award winning veterans Son Hyun Joo and Kim Myung Min playing a judge and a mob leader respectively, the drama also adds on their love for their sons in the conflict with the roles played by Kim Do Hoon and Huh Nam Joon. The drama is a remake of the Israeli TV series also called Your Honor and is directed by the PD of Designated Survivor: 60 Days and What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim and the script is adapted by the writer of Boyhood.

This is ENA’s second hit this year (they’ve only aired 4 dramas so far). Crash reached 7% and this one looks on par too. It’s pretty impressive for an unknown channel.
I started on Ep1...really liked it...look forward till it end to watch.
I'm looking for new dramas to watch after wasting time on several C dramas. This one sounds interesting. I'll check it out.
I do enjoy this type of drama...only hope it stays good thru out.
ENA has been quietly releasing some gems for a while. Kidnapping Day, Like Flowers in Sand and Crash are some recent ones.
It is impressive how ENA is just quietly producing these hit dramas. I am not surprised this remake has resonated with Korean audiences given the subject matter and, of course, with these great lead actors. The clips I have seen it the direction and cinematography looks impressive too.
And it's interesting that a lot of their hits are the non rom-coms. I feel like some watchers decry the ever-increasing number of darker dramas being produced by the kdrama industry, but I like the breadth of genres and it gives those actors whose styles and interests may not suit rom-coms more opportunities.
Of course, once you bring in the award-winning veterans and an experienced production team. It is heading upwards for ENA.
These actors are giving masterclasses of acting for free.
I'm waiting to watch it , the 2 are great actors . Still remember the US version with Bryan Cranston who is an amazing actor but his role in Malcolm stills for me his masterpiece , such a great sense of comedy timing is amazing . I can rewatch it X times .
