So word in the industry is that C-actress Bai Lu is always in dating scandals not of her own side doing. Many actors and actresses will personally leak dating rumors to drum up interest and publicity but for her it’s not that, it’s more that she has really good chemistry with her onscreen costars and maybe could have dated one or more of them. But she doesn’t date every costar but recently it seems the rumor has her doing so. This week a big C-ent gossiper claimed to have the big scoop that Bai Lu is dating Aou Rui Peng, her most recent drama male lead in Moonlight Mystique, after breaking up from her past costar Zhang Ling He after the two secretly dated for over a year post filming The Story of Kunning Palace. Her agency released an official statement that the recent rumors are not true and are defaming Bai Lu’s personal life.

Was it ever confirmed that she was dating ZLH and is it confirmed they broke up? Then again she didn't deny dating ZLH unlike this guy so they probably were together.
This rumour will make it awkward to promote with Aou Rui Peng when their drama comes out.

It was never even confirmed she was dating ZLH, its all rumors. Wouldn't even surprise me Yu Zheng is actually releasing them to keep her name circulating.

It's happening for very work she takes. It's part of the promotion to drop "rumours" of BL dating the actor she works with.
I can kind get it because her works and her acting skills are very highly debatable and questionable so rumours of dating helps her to keep her fame.
The thing is that her side always deny her rumors but they do heavy CP promo for her dramas. They made her popular like this so who are they blaming? The problem now is that even if her team doesn't leak dating rumors or play up the CP a rising actor side will do it for promo. You Zheng promotion style is very effective but not for a long term career.
I wish these drama producers didn't feel the need to sell a ship with all these dating rumors. If two actors have chemistry, that should be enough. Feeding the delusions of shippers just gets in the way of the leads' future pairings with other actors, future reunions, and natural interactons off screen. I was happy to see the news of Yang Zi rejecting CP promotions for Lost You Forever 2, I wish more actors and productions would do the same. Drama over billing needs to end too. I'd love to see a top star humble enough to not be billed first in the name of working with a lead of equal status. At this rate you won't see certain actors ever get the chance to work together due to certain fans losing their minds over who gets billed first.
Bai Lu gets rumors with all her drama leads. She could have dated all of them or none of them. In the cases where she hasn't dated these actors, people believe they did date and that gets in the way of the two actors working together again. I honestly loved Bai Lu and Xu Kai's chemistry together, and I'd love to see them paired up again in a serious modern day drama, but please not another business exec or stoic character for Xu Kai. I just would love to see him play a sensual alluring character that lets him tap into the mischievous charm he displayed in Arsenal Military Academy.
Xu Kai is another actor she was rumored to have dated so I don't think they will work together again. Like Yu Zheng even swapped her and Wu Jinyan's dramas. (She was supposed to act in Royal Feast, and Wu Jinyan in Lin Jiang Xian but YZ decided to switch em).
She didnt deny ZLH but in this one, her team released two statements and firmly denied it, I am guessing she may have really dated ZLH or they didn't take her permission before promoting the ship; maybe ARP agency behind this; to promote their artist
I think she dated 2 of her costars, XuKai and ZLH. She was caught went out from their residences. She kinda has a habit of frequenting her BF/s' residences maybe because she is living with her family. I don't remember her issued any denial with XK's rumors but she (and ZLH) definitely didn't issue any denial over their rumors.
Both boys are smoking, I would date them too....hahahaha
