    Which means she is still deciding yet and if that's the case the rumored costar definitely isn't true cause she hasn't accepted it yet.

      So she is undecided about this role as yet. Will just wait and see. No hurries.

    • Nothing is wrong with having him as a costar but it all depends whether she likes the script enough to act it and besides there are other negotiations too that happens underneath

      What is causing the mess is the fact that some accounts are disguising as yang so fans to say shit about him which cause a little bit of friction btw the 2 fandoms but they have already been exposed and everyone is still waiting for the official confirmation cause that is the important thing

• This is a imaginary “if” but if Tan Song Yun was portraying the female lead, Wei Daxun would have a much better chance at male lead, since they have been such good friends for years.

• The good thing about being in demand like YZ is that one drama gets delayed and she has another one lined up right away. This shows that investors trust her data and not everything is water like haters say. But one thing I noticed about her fans, is they are easy to accuse others of marketing when YZ team does the same, there is a reason most of her co stars fandom don't like their faves working with her. That being said I don't think she is doing anything that different from others, just rules of the game.

  • From a investor point of view...Yang Zi is a safe investment. Dilraba is another... It does not matter what we as international think, it is the locals and the datas that matters.

    To be honest, I feel these 2 actress did work hard to reach this status. Money was not thrown at them initially. They worked hard to show the locals who they are thru variety shows and being supporting casts. It helps many producers enjoy working with these 2 actresses as they are basically very nice, hardworking and professional artistes. No bells and whistles to deal with. Scandal free actresses.

    Zheng Shuang is a good example of a brand that is created with money. In those years, due to her looks, Zheng Shuang had capitalist investing lots of money to groom her brand. She is such a bad actress with a attitude but she was still very popular with strong fandom. She is a product of investment.

    • Every actor and actress signed to agencies with well connected managers are products of capital, DLRB and YZ are hardworking girls but they had their agencies invest heavily in them. It doesn't matter if you come from a poor or rich background your agency power is what's important. I don't think is fair to single out Zheng Shuang as a capital actress, her resources were not that different from others at their peak. This is not because I'm a fan I think her kids case is horrible so not an actress I miss.

    • @Lizzy8, I used Zheng Shuang as a example only because I watched a 'Documentary' on this afew years back...the person did quite a detail investigations on how Capitalist mould current China Entertainment industry.

      This documentary was air before the China new censorship policies were in placed. The journalist did use Zheng Shuang as one example on how she was lucky to have caught the eye of a famous China/HK investor, with his help, he build the Zheng Shuang brand to the level she became. In fact, her acting and talents were very lacking but her looks was appealing to the big young target market. I believe Kris Wu was also another example. I learnt alot from the program..

      I believe this same person may be one of the infamous name in Kris Wu's black book. Kris Wu went to visit him when he was in trouble. but was shut out. I forgot the investors's name, he is very good friends with Jackie Chan.

      That program was a eye opener for me...

  • Yes,that true, most international viewers have little informations about their entertainment and how it works so they create their opinions on the little information they have which do not hold enough weight to it and feels like childless thoughts and tantrums.
    If u r someone who digs for information on c ent, u can even know that koala don't have enough informations about it either. Some of her post don't have true in them or the rumours she decides to post about are lies.

    Jia Ye/Family Business is a historical drama not a modern drama as stated by this article. Some other information from this site is very outdated too.

    Industry insiders who have worked with LYN before have had only good things to say about him. Of course if you would rather believe the malicious rumours spread black marketing accounts who have never met him vs those who have worked with him, you are welcome to.

    • @Hui, thanks for sharing from different perspectives. As far as I know, Koala is more a fan of LYN than a naysayer cos she praised him a lot for his role in A Journey to Love. She has posted so much update about LYN is also one indication that she is interested in his casting news.

      I don't bother picking up a non-skill skill LOL to just confirm showbiz news cos it is placed on the bottom among all my entertainment options. Besides, rumors everywhere in the showbiz. But thanks for sharing from different angles.

  • Lmao idk about the actresses themselves (they prob don't dare to say anything) but I've never seen any fandom being happy when there are rumors LYN is cast alongside their idol. TXW's fandom even celebrated when her rumored project with LYN was cancelled. ITs simply cos he's ugly.

      As for TXW, it wasn’t only her fandom that celebrated. LYN’s fandom also celebrated, since TXW fans were insulting him all the time.

• international fans are only interested in positive news about their favorite artist and go deaf/blind to anything that is not. those that really follow c-ent know well that YZ reputation and standing in c-ent is a bit more complicated. Her ‘top fans’ are professional fans directly handled by her studio.
  These ‘professional fans’ usually prompt and herd the fandom to act according to the direction she wanted.
