It was pretty obvious. She wouldn't announce marriage suddenly out of nowhere just as she finally got her career back on track unless she absolutely had to. Plus she is tiny and it will very obvious physically if she is pregnant so she can't hide it.
It will be interesting to see if she can make a comeback post-baby. Apparently, she said herself that 'The Double' was her last chance. She is a good actress but she is in her mid-30s and only just had a hit after years of flops. She isn't an established A-list star like LSS, YM, ZLY or popular idol beauty with a huge rabid fandom and married with a baby means no shipping fans.
Blame it on Yu Zheng for not getting her good roles in the past. No wonder many actors and actresses are not keen to join his agency.
And when the time comes he pushed WJY into an original teenage protagonist character based on the novel Married Di Daughter (renamed as The Double for the drama). Luckily the changes are accepted by the audience.

I don't know if any of you all got a Weibo's account but anyways I'm quite amazed by all the negative and pessimistic stuff posted about WJY. There are so many people saying she can't be an actress anymore and she won't do romance dramas ever again and etc.
If I judge CNetz only based on their comments on Weibo I'd say they're being stupid and they never have seen pregnant women working in their lives neither did they ever see women working after becoming mothers.
