Li Qin and Chen Zhe Yuan are Enemies Working Together to Save Their Kingdoms in C-drama Fated Hearts
Oooooh, me likes! I was not expecting to be all that interested in upcoming period C-drama Fated Hearts (Chinese title 一笑随歌 Yi Xiao Sui Ge or One Smile Accompanying Song). I have a soft spot for drama titles that are punny based on the names of the two leads (like in Sword and Fairy 祈今朝), and here it’s Li Qin as Fu Yi Xiao and Chen Zhe Yuan as Feng Sui Ge). The preview makes this drama look like a much more action packed enemies to lovers with a side of amnesia take that was most recently done in Are You the One which took a cottagecore play house approach. He’s the prince of a rival kingdom that her top archer character tried to kill before she’s betrayed and loses her memory after almost dying, and he scoops her up to use her to uncover the conspiracy all the while they loathe each other but in that hate-f*ck way. I can’t wait lol!

Yeah I am not keen on watching couples-to-be being that violent with each other, but I like Li Qin so I will check it out hoping that there are a couple of violent CP moments condensed in this trailer.

LQ youthful beauty is really showing the other aging 90’s 🌸 that she’s can act next to 95-liners ML without looking like their mother! YZ sharing the same screen as XK and FCC makes the later 2 looking so juvenile 🤭
YZ’s facial laugh line were so deep that it aged her 2x next to her much younger looking ML. The face of the actress should also be considered when acting next to a younger actor. So it will not look like mother and son on screen making it bummer to watch the love line.

No cdrama viewer can enjoy the love line in the drama if the FL is looking 2x older and with face +built double the size than of the ML tho that’s why I am happy to see the OTP in this drama looking good and acting good together on screen

Li Qin is so pretty here. This type of strong role fits her more than bubbly/adorable roles.
The plot and FL look good from this trailer but I don't know it it's actually make-up or a filter but the ML looks like he fell face first into a make-up pallet! Ir's too much.
Yes, way too much makeup for a non-xianxua drama! Still ML still looks good. Probably would of looked better without so much makeup!
Wasn't excited, but then I saw the trailer and now I'm excited about this
LQ did a great job in the Youth Memories, whose role wasn't easy to portray. I'll check this out.
