First Posters for the Highly Anticipated Return of Kim Nam Gil, Honey Lee, and Kim Sung Kyun in SBS Drama The Fiery Priest 2
Oooh, it’s getting close to the long wait being over for the return of a highly rated and strongly reviewed K-drama with a new season after 5 years. The Fiery Priest 2 with original leads Kim Nam Gil, Honey Lee, and Kim Sung Kyun released first character posters this week and it’s great to see three top leads back together with their strong chemistry in an ensemble drama. The original Fiery Priest ended with a ratings high of 22% in 2019 so even doing single double digits in this environment would be worth doing this sequel and if the stories remain interesting then it could match or exceed the first season.

I hope it works out because ratings are touch and go. It’s never easy making sequels and maintaining the same energy and coming out better than before. I know the main leads are good though and that assurance alone is good. It’s been a long time waiting.
