Well this is going to end well, the romance between a demon hunter and a cat demon lol. C-drama Moonlit Reunion released its first teaser trailer last week and was among the most fun ones in the big batch of drama previews. Starring Xu Kai as the demon hunter and Tian Xi Wei as the cat demon (love the first poster as well especially her shadow), the drama feels fast and fun, like a whole world being created with the human city by day and demon underbelly by night. Both leads always charm me when they act so having them together here is as added reason to check this out when it airs, likely before year end.

These two look like an unlikely pair but might work. TXW is looking a bit different if not more mature as she shed her cutesy demeanor. This kinda give me a Chinese Ghost Story vibe.
It looks more interesting than the run-of-the-mill xianxias for sure.

Her way of sounding mature is not bad compared to Zhao lusi and they both have slight nasally voices in most dramas. Guess it takes lots of practice. Not dissing on Zhao lusi just an observation but the actress above does normally sound baby or cutesy in most roles that is if it is her voice because dubbing could totally be someone else.
From the teaser I feel like they really suit the roles, but it's kinda funny that scaredy cat Xu Kai plays a demon hunter here. 🤣 All 3 dramas which I'm interested from the recent Tencent trailers release are related to demons and demon hunters (though Love Game in Eastern Fantasy is technically isekai game) LOL. Refreshing compared to the previous overdone xianxia themes.
Im looking forward this one esp the costumes. In close up poster he looks a lot more like a cat spirit than her tho.
I had originally imagined brighter colors and a more cheery vibe, but the teaser is giving some awesome dark, eerie vibes.

never a fan of Xu Kai or any of his dramas because I always find his acting & delivery either lacking or mediocre.but for this one his character and the story seems interesting and i am honestly surprised that I am looking forward to it.
TXW face card never declines tho her acting is a bit hit & missed!for this particular drama she appears well put together and has good chemistry with XK
When I heard that 2 were going to be together, I expected light and fun. Suspense? They don't have much chemistry in this trailer. The poster - what's with their eyes? Especially xk. Hope the drama is better.
their acting looks pretty good. but i cant feel any chemistry yet. for a drama which should be star-crossed lovers, the story could be dull no matter how good it is if they dont have chemistry
