Before the arrival of high profile Netflix K-dramas The Trunk at the end of this month and Squid Game 2 at the end of December, this week a light hearted road trip caper K-drama drops on the streaming platform with a cute name of Mr. Plankton. Starring Woo Do Hwan, Lee Yoo Mi, and Oh Jung Se, itβs one of those screwball comedies that reveals itself to be a sweet and warm tale about found families and facing hang ups in life. I also see a lot of very unique K-comedic elements and it should make for a welcome lighter fare to watch as the prior K-drama to drop on Netflix before this was Hellbound 2.

The title just does not match the summary of the plot. I guess maybe plankton is solitary and alone? The titles they have been churning out just seems odder and odder. ππ€·π»ββοΈ
