I don’t know if this drama will be a hit when it’s all done but this is definitely a very promising sign. This weekend tvN released rom-com Love Your Enemy with Joo Ji Hoon and Jung Yumi, taking over from Jeonghyeon: A Star is Born. I legit had zero interest in this drama but judging from the ratings am inclined to check it out now. Episode 1 premiered with an unassuming 3.488% rating but then episode 2 jumped to 6.453% nearly doubling. Once I checked out the production team it does seem promising, with the screenwriter of The Tale of Nokdu and Love in the Moonlight with the PD of Alchemy of Souls. I’ll keep an eye on this one.

It's pretty good. The plot, acting and chemistry are served well. It's been awhile i see JJH in romcom. Glad to have him back in this genre.
I wonder about When The Phone Rings' rating. Waiting for ep 3.
Ms. Koala should give this one a shot too.
Yeah and the younger cast also did quite well, it was very enjoyable overall
I prefer the young version actually. Typical kdrama romcom, the FL in their 30s are always described like this. Loud and 'brave'.
@Yui
Somehow that’s true, why does woman in their 30s always portrayed like that? I’m curious if there is a kind of stereotype being involved here… like they’re not married because they have bad temper? Feels like I heard about these kind of sexist comment often
I saw it dropped in ratings in ep 2 but maybe mainly due to going against fiery priest 2 which is a highly popular and anticipated drama
Omo, Fiery Priest 2 still dominated the prime time.
I had no interest in it too, but several sat-sun dramas from tvN this year have been great so I’ll also check this one out.
On a shallow level, JJH looks so haggard here lol. Maybe it’s his role but he looks like he hasn’t slept in weeks.
Both are great actors and I enjoy alot of their projects. Looking forward to watching this. Hope script is good.
Anyone has feedback on When The Phone Rings? It’s all over my TikTok and trending on my bird app.
It's pretty good. Go in blind, it will surprise you. I'm eagerly waiting for the next episode.
Makjang, non logical, but entertaining.
I wasn't interested as the trailer and poster seemed a too juvenile for these actors but maybe that was the point lol. Good for them that it's doing well.
I anticipated to that drama since casting news! It's not so often to see good adult romance daily drama without teenage vibe, so will wait till the end of the drama to eat it at whole.
The young actors and the past storyline are what I like. I'm not really into the present version of them; especially the FL. She's super loud and childish. But I'm going to continue the show, it's only 12 episodes so I have faith it won't drag.
Love both actors so i'll watch but i was hooked by When the phone rings as i love Yoo Yeon Seok as an actor and his chemistry with his co stars . It was already what makes me love The interest of love . He gives a manly vibe that fits his age it changes from some "flower boys" . Chae Soo Bin is doing a good job too . Some things of the plot don't make sense but i don't care !
I prefer this sort of romcom,,more grounded and a lot more mature. Can't stand romcom that are geared towards the twenty-somethings, have idols in them and yes teenagers
Hmmm, maybe it’ll get better after the 2nd episode? I’m not liking the chemistry between Ju g Yumi & Joo Ji Hoon. Joo Ji Hoon gives off very cold vibes. Not sure how convincing he’ll be in romcom.
But we are crazy about When the phone rings right now😆
I'll say over crazy 😍😍😍
