First Look at Lee Se Young and Na In Woo in KBS Drama Motel California
I actually have such high hopes for this drama and its probably because I think both leads have such a winning track record in picking their projects. The first stills are out for KBS drama Motel California starring Lee Se Young and Na In Woo, in a Hometown Cha Cha Cha and and Welcome to Samdalri vibe. Lee Se Young is one of my most favorite actresses of her generation and Na In Woo while never impressing me actually has in recent dramas not detracted from the project and delivered a solid turn. A drama that interests me these days is few and far between and I don’t want to look a gift horse in the mouth and this is one I am looking forward to.

It's weird for me when I hear Motel California because that screams Hotel California and the amount of people who don't know that this song is actually about drugs and addiction and California as a whole that was such a fantastic place at the time to really mess yourself up.
That is a very popular rock song by Eagles. I love the song...Drugs and all is common in UK music scenes too.
Eagles are a legend , and Glenn Frey who was the co lead singer may be more known by the "younger"ones for the hit song The heat is on from the Beverly Hills cop movie .When i read some comments i realize that i'm old . Just like when Kate Bush's song became known thanks to Stranger things . Aside a few names , i don't know much about nowadays music . @cahill, recently a member of Bee Gees passed away...Not a family member but their drummer. I started reading more about the band and how sad the twins passed away. Drugs, drinks, depression... The brothers did not get on and quarrel quite a bit...After their death, Barry Gibb said, he wished they had time to built the burnt bridges... That made me tear...
I was sad too . Bee Gees were tagged as a disco band but they wrote such amazing songs as Words, I started a joke, Massachussetts, i can listen them non stop . Their collaboration with Streisand and the duet they wrote for Céline . It made me think of The Beach Boys who were considered at first as a band for teens, but Brian Wilson is considered as one of the best american songwriters of all the time . Perhaps because i'm old but nowadays i don't see bands writing such meaning and timeless songs . Recently i listen Johnny Cash cover 's song of TrenT Reznor " Hurt " . His cover was so amazing that Reznor said that the song wasn't his anymore but a Johnny Cash song !That speaks a volume !

I love Lee Seyoung with the long wavy hair. Na In Woo is a decent actor. Nothing amazing but not bad either and gets the job done. I feel like he is generally cast as the nice straight man ML to the more interesting and charismatic female lead characters.
I'm more interested by the father-daughter story than the romance.
Looking forward on this drama Motel California. I've read the book and I love it. You can't doubt Lee Se Young's acting skills. She always offer something fresh to of the table. One of the best actress in Korean Drama. Fighting!
