Xianxia C-drama The Blossoming Love with Zhang Bin Bin and Sun Zhenni Tentatively Scheduled for December 26th Premiere
The big name C-dramas that was rumored for December seems to have all moved into January or are still awaiting a month end confirmed release date. That leaves Blossom having a clear path to dominate the month both from being a good drama and having no competition. This weekend there is new news that The Blossoming Love (千朵桃花一世开 Thousand Peach Blossoms Blooming in One Life) with Zhang Bin Bin and Sun Zhenni will be arriving on December 26th, so a nice Christmas present for drama fans. Both leads I consider perennial second lead material (sorry not sorry) but then it just means they only have nowhere to go but up in impressing me. The drama looks very classic xianxia with the good god sect versus the bad demon sect dichotomy but it’s still worth checking out.

It is strange for me..I am quite a visual person, but I never warm to Zhang Bin Bin... I dont think I even finished any of his dramas...But I do start them.

Love Song in Winter with Johnny Huang and Sun Qian is out. I’m curious to check it out. There’s also a drama by Bai Baihe so it’s not just Blossom running per se.
I liked ZBB thought he would break out after Ten Miles Peach Blossom and The King’s Woman. His pairing is always odd to me except with DLRB during their earlier years. I didn’t find his other pairing appealing to me. I cannot fathom this pairing either so I’ll pass. :D
I've been waiting for this one, since they started releasing promotions, with the positively baroque costumes. It's either going to be campy great or horrible trashy. Not too keen on the changed title, but that's superficial.
The only thing form this post intriguing me is "Blossom" has become another catch word besides "Love" in C drama titles. LOL.
Only judging by the posters, the drama looks super boring.....
I think she also has another one with Li Hongyi called Blossom in Darkness. Blossom really has become the new overused word for cdrama title names!
He is definitely handsome and an okay actor but he has a track record in picking mediocre dramas. The only drama I could watch was the one with Esther yu but even that drama was draggy.
